Ausshooter- Did you ever hear from anyone? I've sent PM's here, emails, and PM's on Facebook about RO'ing. No response. Other than Sandra saying RO's need to fill out an app. The question was how do we know if we're RO'ing if we don't hear anything and how much, if any, money do we send in if we are?

I like that "6th Annual 29th birthday party"! My wife has those too. She just had her 11th annual 29th birthday party! -

Ken, I think the USPSA computer doesn't like you! -
I carry a 22 on duty and shoot a 34 in Production and 35 for L/L10. I know of 1 agency in S. LA that carries 34's for issued duty weapons. Most everybody else is carrying the standard models (17 or 22). Nothing wrong with either one, but the shorter one bothers me less when sitting in a patrol car for any length of time. I find that the longer one digs into the center console and/or the seatbelt base and pushes up into the bottom of my vest. After long periods I find myself sitting crooked. This is in a Crown Vic. No probs in the Tahoe.

2011 Hillbilly Classic

Hey, I resemble that remark about the lowest commom denominator! It just occurred to me that every match I've shot with CDPMatt has been terrible for me and he's won something. Hmmmmmmm....... Matt, when will the entry stuff be up for this? -

Nov. 6 is a Sunday. Is it just a 1 day match? That is also daylight savings day. How many people you think that'll screw up? -
Jesse- Mine looks almost identical to that, but I also rounded the front of the triggerguard and undercut another slot for my left index finger. Titanium striker and safety plunger, 3.5 connector, .25 cent trigger job, overtravel stop, 15# recoil spring on SS guide rod, KKM barrel, Dawson Adj. rear with green fiber front. Limited or L10.

2011 TN SECTIONALS

Burningsquirrels, I appreciate the "Glass is half full" look at things! My "clean ammo" and bag is currently spread across the cleaning bench drying out. I enjoyed shooting with you. Thanks for letting me bum some stage planning tips from you since my brain was obviously not working on Sat. The GA match is the weekend between A4 and the NPSC (National Police Shooting Championship), which is followed the next weekend by the Nats. I'll ask the wife, but I fear an adverse reaction to the question! I heard you talking about the match and it sounds great. -

Many thanks to the staff and RO's for a great match. The stages were challenging, and the match was well planned. I did not shoot well, but I had a great time. I'm pretty sure that's the most penalties I've ever had in a single match! To add insult to injury, I dumped water in my ammo bag! What a day. Squad 11 was great and I will definetly shoot this match again. CDPMatt, thanks for driving. -
The Nats are split up to an extent, but not all the way. I like the idea of having each Division on its own days. Then, someone could shoot Limited and Production, which you can't do with the current set.The current set would allow a competitor to compete in 2 Divisions if they didn't conflict with each other and that person had a slot for each division. Divisions on their own days would allow someone to compete in every Division if they wanted. I also agree with getting rid of slots. Why not just enter this match like every other match in the nation? Fill out the app, send in the money. More like the NPSC (National Police Shooting Championship), the more matches you enter, the more it costs. The more matches you enter, the more fun you have and stuff to win!

Mine too. My Production has not updated all of the classifiers I shot (which were all uploaded last month)and my Limited scores are gone. I still have a % for Limited, but it's not showing any classifiers I have shot.

2011 AR Section Multi Gun match

My app is on it's way. Hope to get my pin email soon. Prreed10- Maybe You, Goose, Jeff, and I can ride together from LR? Are you going to shoot the Gator Classic the weekend before? -
BladeTech,CompTac,and DAA all make great Production holsters. I use a BladeTech holster and the CR Speed mag holders and belt.
-
Downrange58, I have not had any trouble removing lead/moly buildup with Shooter's Choice or the good old Hoppe's #9.
-
Yes, Downrange58 you cane stipple production guns like CDPMatt said. My G34 is a Production gun. You can stipple it anywhere that you are allowed to put grip tape. Just look in the back of the USPSA rulebook for the pic showing the defined areas.
-
Kevin C I think you're correct. I normally use S&S cast bullets, but I tried some of the new Bayou Bullets a couple of weeks ago. Almost no fouling at all. I believe coated bullets could be used in factory barrels with little concern for buildup.
-
For those of you contemplating this, it only takes a couple of hours to do. I got a low wattage soldering iron from Radio Shack that has screw on tips. It cost $18. I did my 22,34,35, and my FN SLP. I love them. I've had so many compliments on them. I keep a wet sponge handy to wipe the iron tip on when there is some buildup. So, stippling on 3 Glocks and a shotgun took me about 7 hours.

Spanky, I just sent Ken another email about the squadding on 15. He had it fixed, but apparently the USPSA computer switched it back or didn't apply the change.
