Tighter tolerances on the rails and barrel areas, easier to mill if you want to lighten, lowered ejection port from lw, cheaper than factory, beveled nose on most models, front cocking serrations, that's just off the top of my head.

I've heard good things about Bill Springfield, and wonderful things about Bruce Gray. Ima send the L to Gray. I don't like the external over travel on Bills work, and love the idea of np3d internals on Grays guns.

I CC a p30 v2 .40 lem converted to a Todd green special, two days ago I ordered a P30L v1 .40 I intend to do the same thing with. I own Zev glocks, factory glocks, open compensated glocks, and the hk is just as fast and twice as sexy.

Tighter tolerances, better fit, cheaper. Most people change the barrel, firing pin, springs, sights, guiderod anyway so your not buying anything your not going to use. A LW slide is $210. Or $240 for a blind marked version without the stupid wolf caricature on it. Put a KKM barrel in it and run the shit out of it!

The slides are the only thing LW makes that I would put on anything. They are light years better than stock and cheaper than the more expensive offerings. Don't hesitate. Never had a problem from my G35, G27, G23 slide.

1) yes, check gunbroker, glockmeister also has them. 2) around $350-400 If it were me I'd get a lone wolf slide, kkm barrel, and build it up with the components you want it'll cost a little more but it'll be exactly what you want. Steve

They are so strong that glock added a third pin to the frame on the gen3. You should sell it and get a gen3 .40 cal. The locking block is beefier.
