  1. I start with a half inch diameter Dremel sanding drum and finish with progressively finer grits of sandpaper up to 12000 grit. Go slow with the drum. The more patient you are, the better your results will be. Steve
  2. How's your lockup? Is your slide to frame fit tight? What kind of trigger you running? Factory sights? Striker? There are lots of other places you could spend that money to improve accuracy. Steve
  3. cundiff if your interested I've got a Zev set of springs and a v4 connector if your interested. free of course. just pm me your address and I'll get it mailed out. Steve
  4. dunno what would make it not fit a gen4?.. Get a BarSto, just as accurate and fits gen4.
  5. Don't encourage him Cundiff. He's a train wreck, don't SLOW traffic down to look at how bad it is... if you want to send the slide off to get it cut, that's your business. I like doing the internal work myself. But I like to tinker. To each his own. As long as your having fun that's all that matters. Steve
  6. I'd have to melt that red dot into the slide. Photos look better this time.
  7. Shoot a thousand rounds through it. Then decide what you don't like about it. Sights, guiderod, and trigger springs give you the most noticeable improvements. And make it easier to shoot well/accurately. Then if you still want the go fast parts throw some money at it in the priority of what irks you the most. Steve
  8. Love the Arredondos. Awesome setup. Thanks so much for the help guys!!
  9. the slide. only on the four spots that the little rails contact. GO SLOW!! it's easy to go too far. I do this to all of my glocks.

  11. I am completely satisfied. I don't know that I would have spent the money were it not for the advice given here. I'm glad I did. Steve
  12. Got my magwell yesterday. Although not required the extended basepads are a welcome addition.
  13. Thanks for spoonfeedin the noob. I got the Zev magwell ordered and some Arredondo +4s to go with it. I really appreciate your help Tuflehundon! Steve
  14. First off thanks so much for not taking offense to the way I speak. Second, that's the info I was looking for. I apologize but I've never had much tact. Thanks so much. Is Arredondo the only manufacturer of the extended base pads for G20/21? Steve
  15. Not to sound rude, but I'm well aware of how the Zev magwell fits a MEDIUM FRAMED glock 22. I am asking about the LARGE FRAME glock 20. That's a very nice looking glock 22 you have there, thanks for sharing. Steve
  16. Anyone running a Glockworx magwell on a G20? Do the magazine's require base pads to fit the magwell or can I run the mags stock..
  17. You'd be surprised at how many people dump huge amounts of cash into guns they can't shoot for shit. Last time I was at Alpine Range here in Texas the guy next to me was running a huge nickel plated 44 Magnum, 8 inch barrel, scope, standing at 50ft he couldn't hit the 14" of paper the 10" ring was printed on. I was laughing so hard I had to leave... Who cares what gun you run as long as you shoot it well. Steve
  18. Unique is just what i have laying around atm. I will get some Longshot and VV 3n37 when I get to the range. I was just wanting to load some light plinking loads so I can shoot when I get there. I just wanted some options if they didnt have any particular powder. I love the VV 3n37 but its kinda pricey for plinking but will look for some longshot when I get there. Any other powders I should pick up as well? Im not into buying bulk online until i dial something in. The indoor range I usually go to doesnt allow chronographs so its hard to check speeds. I dont want to get anything close to max just yet. Thanks so much for the responses guys keep em coming! Steve
  19. Hey guys I finally got a Glock20 and im trying to find a decent accurate practice load for it. I have a bunch of Unique left over from loading my 9mm/,357/.40 and with todays shortages would just like to run through it before i find a more suitable powder to use. I have a bunch of berrys double struck 135/165/180 grn and was wondering whats a good starting load for 180gr? I have only found a few sources that say start with 6gr of unique and work up from there. I also have seen a few sources that say start at 8gr. When the powders/MG/Zero are more plentiful Ill switch to those. I'm running a BarSto factory length barrel. I was thinking Berrys 180gr with 6gr of unique at 1.26 OAL? School me please.. Steve
  20. +1000000!!! Expensive but worth every penny.
  21. factory warranty, who cares if its refurbished?
  22. They do that bait and switch all the time. I ordered a kkm barrel from them a couple years ago and waited 6 weeks. When I finally got ahold of them through email, they were less than helpful. Cancellation took 3 emails for to say theyd cancel my order. Funds took 8 weeks, and my bank had to step in... Glockstore blows....
  23. pfhht, slip the testing guy a $20 bill. Helps my long tube headered, no cat 2003 silverado pass every time.
  24. there are at least 5 on gunbroker today.
