  1. Oh my! Ask and you shall receive -- quickly! Thanks!
  2. Tell me more about this doodie of which you speak.
  3. Dunno for sure - we still use whistles and a stop watch, stop plates, paper & pencil to score, and, when necessary we break out the ballistic pendulum to discern major from minor. Ain't that the way most folks do it at their matches? Oh sure, they prolly use all that fancy-schmancy electronic gizmos at the Nationals, but hell, that's only once a year right?
  4. If our match falls on an even numbered day we enforce only the odd numbered rules; if the match falls on an odd numbered day we enforce only the even numbered rules. That way folks know what to expect when they show up for the match.
  5. Too true! I had two complete 320's on hand when I worked over one of mine and it took a lot of trial & error to get it where I wanted it. So it can be done with stock parts but ya gotta work at it a bit!
  6. Possibly - I don't recommend anyone else even trying it - it is something I'm experimenting with presently and will definitely monitor closely.
  7. Hey Blue Jacket - I meant to say my old trigger parts gave me a pull of 3.5 lbs. The new parts were a lot closer to 4 or a tad over that. Like Quack, my parts in it now are all stock with full power striker. I did a lot of polishing and removed one of the two sear springs - took a lot of polish it then try it many times before I got it where it is now. I was hoping that the new trigger kit would get me to 3 lbs or less but it didn't happen on this pistol. I'll be getting another 320 soon enough so hopefully the kit will work better in another pistol.
  8. Interesting! I had a similar issue today upon installation with reset at first but once I got it to reset the trigger was somewhat gritty, not much but noticeable. And most annoying was the "double click" when dry firing - that drove me crazy! Because my trigger already broke smoothly at a tad under 3.5 lbs, I would say with the new parts it broke closer to 4 lbs. I solved my issues by re-installing my old parts so now I'm a happy guy again. I'll try the new parts when I get another 320, might work just fine in that one!
  9. Huh? Rules say max mag length is 141.25mm. Then this: 21.7 Magazines OFM and aftermarket magazines and base-pads may be used. Grip tape and/or skateboard tape are specifically allowed on magazines and base- pads. What would there be to complain about?
  10. "While I think the 320 shoots the 124/125gr bullets the best, a heavier bullet and slower cycling of the slide works better for me with the RX". Hey Bill - I'm interested in your above statement - are you shooting jacketed, cast, or coated bullets? How much slower would you estimate the slide is traveling? Thanks!
  11. Thanks for the info AG - appreciate it!
  12. `Hey agwoodard - how many matches have you shot with your 320 and how has it held up? Any malfunctions? I'm assuming you're shooting Production, not Carry Optics. Thanks!
  13. Hey Brooke - I had the same thing happen to my RTS2 as far as lens replacement just a couple of weeks ago. Only cost was the $12.75 for shipping it back to me. Total time was about three weeks after they got it until it was returned to me.
  14. I had the 320RX and a regular 320 and thought about having him mill the RX for the RTS2, but in the end I sold the RX and had him mill my other 320 for the RTS2. I believe the RTS2 is a tad longer than the Romeo 1 but I had already sold the RX before the RTS2 came in so I couldn't compare. There is a HUGE difference in the 6MOA dot - due to brightness mostly - when comparing to the 3MOA on the Romeo 1 and the 6MOA is just not as big as you'd think given it's double the size. No way would I ever go back to a 3MOA dot!
  15. Talked to my 'smith about mounting an RTS2 to my Rx and he said no problem so guessing it shouldn't be a problem with the DPP. Totally agree that the 3MOA dot is TINY in the Romeo 1 and durned easy to lose whilst shooting!
  16. Hey Garmil - will any of the other red dots fit the Sig RX slide cut/screw pattern then?
  17. Dunno - that was a direct quote from Springer Precision. I assumed they were talking about the slide cut/screw spacing so didn't much pay attention to the dovetail thingy.
  18. I had the same question for Springer Precision last week and here is their answer: "Unfortunately the Romeo 1 is very unique with its dovetail and there isn't another optic that shares that configuration with the existing slide cut/screw pattern".
  19. Mike is a top-notch builder out of Chinook, MT and has been doing it a long time! I have a couple of his Limited builds and they are still going strong 13 years later!
