  1. Erik, are you ready for the slats again? My satge is 36 rounds...How about some swinging soft cover and some moving tubes and whoo knows what else. Erik-
  2. 250 should be plenty.... im not sure on the exact round count... i'll find out for you. Erik-
  3. What happens if there is a port with 4 targets behind it the shoot 3 and then have to do a standing reload and then shoot the 1 remaining target. thats not very "friendly". IF you only put 3 targets behind that port and 3 targets on the nexty aray the L10 and PRO guys say " the course doesnt flow well" or "I have to do too many reloads" Lets get rid of all the divisions and start using single shot muzzle loaders. only then it would be fair to all. Erik-
  4. Perhaps then they should change the rules to allow 8 shot revolvers. There then woulden't be any moaning about course desgin. Erik-
  5. I aggree with Erik Warren. Dump revolver. They have ICORE, a revolver specific sport. Ever watch a wheel gunner shooter shoot a match were the majority of the stages were over 40 rounds? A 20 second open or limited run truns into a 120 second run for a revolver. Erik-
  6. In my .45 I use a 1.255 OAL with 185gr or 200gr lswc. You may have to experiment a little to see what length feeds best in your gun. You may also want to measure some factory loads to see what length they are loading to. Erik-
  7. Red Green Blue Purple and Black markers are pretty much your only options that show well on brass. And every one uses them. I think im going to hand paint all mine like barber poles. No mistaking whos is whos then. Erik, have you started looking for investors for you 650 brass marking die?
  8. BD, I totaly agree with number 1 and 2. I've see it all too often.
  9. I think it was Tom Hanks in Saving Private Ryan that said "its like looking for a needle in a stack of needles" How can I find my needles easier? Im sick of the 10 to 15 % return. When a spent case it lying on its side they all look the same. lazy brassers dont help the return either. I have come to the conclusion that marking the headstamp doesnt work. What are you guys doing? Marking the rim? Marking the sides of the case? But isn't that a great pain to mark each one by hand rather than running a felt pen over the head stamp when they all in a box facing the same way. More importantly, whats going to stay visible after going through the tumbler. Erik-
  10. Oh well, sure felt better than a 68% when i shot it.
  11. Ron, What was you hit factor on the 76%? I shot it last weekend and got a 6.8 somthin... Erik-
  12. A lot of my friends are switching to SP2 for reduced muzzle flash the only drawback is that is its a very fine powder. Almost silt like. If your usning 3n37 you know about that.... If you want impress some people go for the Power Pistol. Another Friend of mine shoots it ot of his glock 24C for fun. 2 feet of flame out the comp and 3 freet out the front. The report is also very loud. IT really turns some heads at our local indor range. Erik-
  13. Where would one be able to get one of the guages? and how much?
  14. WHile on the subject of mag length...at the RGN I had Bevin Grams work on one of my mags and and he put it in a gage put a bigger base pad on and filed on the feed lips a bit and it fit perficty and.... whala one more round. He said that the new legal limit was 141.25mm. What gives? Erik-
  15. We are going through a contract negotiation righ now as well...Im sure that has something to do with it. but the other thing that iritates me is that guys like him get a second chance and some more deserving people don't.
  16. The other question is do you belive that some people need rude awaking and a second chance to change their outlook on life and they way they treat other people?
  17. My boss had a heart attack the other and is recovering. There is no sympathy from anyone here at work and I feel the same way. He is the most controling, manipulative, mule headed, finger pointer, and unethical person I know and I think he deserved it. Is it really unreasonable for me to think this way? My wife thinks that you should never wish harm on anyone. Generally I feel the same way, but there are allways exceptions. It just makes me feel warm all over when I think about it and how many people he has screwed over. Am I really that evil? Erik-
  18. it will bennifit you also...you'll get stickers with your name and shooter number on them for your score sheets instead of writing your name on each one. At least I think its a pain to write may name on all those sheets. But mostly helps the administration
  19. The Bay Bridge Charity match is less than a month away get your enty forms in. There has been an additional stage added for a total of 6. lunch is included. Big prize raffle. Part of you enty fee is tax decutable and proceeds go to the Toys For Tots program. Not to mention its a whole lot of fun. Entry forms are avalible at www.tasc-ipsc.org Print some and hand them out to your friends at your local club. Hope to see you there. Erik-
  20. That tool looks like it would really come in handy. I launched my reverse plug in the hotel room that i was staying at during the race gun nats. It actually stuck into the ceeling. I havent reveived a bill yet, so I guess they didn't notice. Erik-
  21. If the only reason to shoot factory ammo is to stock pile the brass, I'd stay away from the S&B becasue of the crimped primer pockets. Its alot more hassel than its worth. Winchester, Federal and PMC are all good choices. THe winchester is good brass but it leaves the gun very dirty. You may just want to buy some reloads at a gun show if you just want the brass. the price is better and the loads are a bit lighter than facory stuff.
  22. sorry folks, that was 4.6gr of wst with a 185gr... Erik-
  23. I've been using WST in my .45 kimber for quite some time. It is soft and clean meters well and is pretty clean burning. I was running 5.6gr with a 185gr lswc. it consistanty made a 168pf. I also tried 4.2gr(i think) of clays with a 200gr lswc. talk about soft. Erik-
  24. I have seen them as well and they are very nice I especially like the ridigity. No droopy mags. But has anyone tried to stuff it through a limcat holster. The slot on the limcat is even tight on a safariland belt. Erik-
