  1. That's retarded. I've left my gun in pieces on a safety table running around looking for parts before. Left it on the safety table before I ran to the bathroom...which I occupied for awhile. If there is a rule against that, I've never seen it.
  2. I love Shrek, I'm going to end up seeing up for sure, but will probably wait till DVD.
  3. That's funny...that was the first thing I thought too when this thread came up.
  4. Even though I disagree with why the warnings are being given out...if you just forget and do it once and get a warning....no harm no foul....but if you do it again you kinda deserve what you get. The amount of points available on the stage is irrelevent, if you do it the 2nd time after the warning, you are a victim of your own smartness.
  5. Naw, it was a ringtone to Dani California. I had theme music for my stage.
  6. It was a speed shoot so I actually was able to answer it on like the 5th ring.
  7. Unless there is a cop behind me physically pulling me over and then staying there once I do pull over....I ain't stopping.
  8. Yeah...just imagine if he used that time to actually practice.
  9. That's actually happened to me before. After the standby command, the phone in my pocket started ringing.
  10. Usually I let my mind go whereever it wants. Sometimes it is thinking about critical points in the stage, sometimes it's thinking about the enormous quantities of alcohol I drank the night before.
  11. I started coming down with something last night too. Be flying out of Michigan at 530. I hope it's not a replay os Wisconsin last year where everything was spinning when I shot it.
  12. Guys, let's keep this even here....getting a little out of hand. Don't forget the guidelines...I hate closing threads so don't ruin my day.
  13. That's awesome BE. I've always loved astronomy and have wanted a good telescope for a really long time. Let me know what you decide on.
  14. My friend Nemo, you have no idea. Maybe I should start posting pictures.
  15. Not only that, but the Load and Make Ready command is a hint to all the other shooters to put their Ear pro on. Range commands should be said so everyone on the stage can hear them.
  16. I love you guys. I also demand a guest judging slot.
  17. Indexing if basically aligning your body so your natural point of aim is on a target. The drills for round guns and for automatics should be the same. If anything, just double the specified reload drills and you'd be fine. Really, the only difference between the two guns is just technique in how you shoot them.
  18. PB, Having 19 rounds instead of 17 may not be the difference...but I'm willing to bet it will matter on 1 or 2 stages in the course of a major.
  19. I would say that the analogy with the images is actually pretty close. For me though, I wouldn't call it being disconnected or unconcious about what was happening, but more along the lines of it just happening without me doing anything. What the zone was for me was this: I would program myself to shoot alphas as quickly as possible, and if I was in the zone, it would just happen. Almost as if you could just hit a button labeled "auto-run." I don't know if that makes any sense...this is something that doesn't get put into words very easily.
  20. Link Here's the link to the old video.
  21. 7625 has always been ultra reliable temperature wise for me. Are you sure that your powder measure didn't back off accidentally?
  22. Last year the longest shots were around 700...and those targets were bonus. Your set up looks good, but I would go with at least a 3.5x maybe a 4x for your rifle. Shooting little 3 inch plates at 150 yards might get difficult with a 1.5x. If you don't already....definetely grab a Harris bipod for your AR. And bring lots of mags and ammo......L O T S.
