  1. I lost a rollpin once, called Ruger customer service, had 2 show up in my mailbox 3 days later... at no charge.
  2. They did that at Il section one time and put the NS in front of the plates. Can anyone say reshoot? Milan Fall Classic... I'm hoping Amidon wouldn't approve that stage in a Level II sectional, just sayin'.
  3. Lorenzo looked stunning in his tire management. Stoner arm pump coming back to haunt him. Rossi... done. GoNickyGo! Moto2 race was a ding dong battle too! Marquez on his game after his injuries is amazing. Moto3 this afternoon on Speed, along with the other 2 races if you haven't seen them. Missed Indy last year, hopefully make it this time. I'm really looking forward to the Texas round in 2013!
  4. Hmmm... I have the latest Android version, I see no such button to post. Sorry.. it isn't in the Android version yet. It will be soon. Easiest way to do that is to find an iOS device, sync, and post from it. Ken N. Yeah, what he said... Sorry, forgot to put that in my original response... We all use an IOS device as the final device and post from there to the PS.com site... it's just super easy from an IPad and you can check the results on a large screen prior to posting. Alan Thanks! Hoping I wasn't going crazy... Worked like a charm from my Android based tablet (Archos 101). Shared the registration and stage/score files to my dropbox, imported to EZWS from there. No fuss, no muss.

  6. PS's generated html match results are the best in the business. I used to create match results like from ezws manually, and it took hours. They did all the work and all you have to do is upload the results to a location in your website and link to it. It looks great, and even includes Combined. Oh, and there's nothing rare about a DNF. We have one or two almost every match. I too like the results, the only options are to "share" them to Dropbox, email (gmail), or an IM host... would be nice to export directly to Practiscore or some other host, thus the ability to link. I'm not a webmaster so cannot upload there.
  7. go look in match results on the Practiscore.com site for how they appear, there are many matches there... look for gpsl, naas, or cgc for example. Also, PS has the ability to output the HTML version of the results and email those to whomever directly if you like. Alan Trying to avoid email as much as possible... Nothing in the results section of how to get the match file posted there...
  8. Is there anywhere to export the match results so that a link can be posted to a club website for viewing? How do results appear on the Practiscore site? On rare occasion we may have a shooter leave the match w/o finishing all stages. Is there a way to enter a DNS, similiar to EZWS?
  9. Guaranteed that was 100x easier than explaining iPod touch functionality to the typical USPSA shooter...
  10. 1. Forbidden fruit 2. Anger 3. Human hands 4. Chinese handcannons 5. The Manhattan Project
  11. yeah, both -10, but you would most likely also have a -10 miss on the same target as the NS, unless you re-engaged to make up the miss. Same, but different...
  12. Centermass...take any target you have now and explode it. May need to explode it more than once. Get to the individual sides, then you can re-color the flat area/side. Remember to regroup al lthe components back together before trying to move/copy. Fantastic! Worked just how you said. Thanks Mark!
  13. I'm need of a sketchup prop which is a black PP used for hardcover in front of other PP. I've tried using the paint bucket to color the face of the prop in the template, but I cannot accomplish the mission. Also if anyone could create a black hardcover steel target in the shape of the standard metric I would appreciate that also.
  14. I'll admit that 2012 will be my fourth year shooting Prod, and had no clue magnets were allowed. I particiated in Area 5 last year, shot at 4 different clubs, yet did not notice other Prod shooters using magnetc retention. I feel so ignorant....
  15. How does the use of magnetic magazine holders in ANY division comply with this: 5.2.4 During the course of fire, after the start signal, unless stipulated otherwise in the stage procedure, spare ammunition, magazines and/or speed loading devices shall be carried in retention devices attached to the competitor's belt and specifically designed for that purpose. Unless specifically prohibited in the Written Stage Briefing, a competitor may also carry additional magazines or speed loading devices in apparel pocket(s) and retrieve and use them without penalty, providing that the location of the apparel pocket does not violate the requirements of Appendix D, Item 12 (subject to the provisions of Rule 6.2.5.1).
  16. Not only behind the hip bone, but within 2" of the inner side of the belt. Non-issue as that is the same for ALL divisions.
  17. Sorry but that concept like common sense has faded away. Commas, learn to love and use one.
  18. I respectfully disagree. Is a shooting box not just a small "shooting area"? I have shot long courses with separate "shooting areas" comprised of several typical shooting boxes. It was still shoot as and when available, with no other restrictions other than some targets were only available from certain boxes. I'm not sure how the (not in a long course) refers to the first part of the rule before the comma. It reads to me as clarification of "in short and medium courses only." BTW... I read your post before the edit, and it wasn't clear to me why a ruling by NROI would be necessary, can you explain?
  19. Unbelievable... if this is how the BOD continues to enact change I will not renew for 2012 or beyond. How can the BOD claim to be acting in good faith to promote the sport and protect its integrity when implementing a rule without knowledge of how to neither measure nor enforce it?
  20. No. It only further skews the unofficial results... Hmmm, on second thought... are you asking about re-entry for a different division? If so, yes, otherwise no if shooter is same division. Also, no if the shooter is only re-shooting the classifier.
  21. Equal, but SEPARATE... If Women, Junior, Snr, SuperSnr, LE, military want to be recognized as such, then they shall NOT be scored within the "main" match placement.
  22. If "most" feel Production is a "beginners" division, then it should be required to use factory ammunition only, as nearly all beginners do not reload. This removes the tuned loads for minor power factor. I can see loading to capacity if this is the case, and then scoring major since the PF will not (in theory) be close to the minor floor. Keep the "stock" rules the same, DAO only, gun/pouch/holster placement, etc. Remember tho that 15 is arbitrary... there are many Production legal guns that can hold 17, so "load to capacity" needs to be just that with no limitation other than OE-capacity mags are required.
  23. I remember another 10+ page thread about this... the parentheses refer to specifying a mandatory reload, not the engagement of a target arrays. Grammatically the rule stinks, and obviously opens up differing interpretations. It would be better if it read: 1.1.5.1a Level I matches may use shooting boxes and specify where or when specific target arrays may be engaged. 1.1.5.1b Level I matches may specify mandatory reloads in short and medium courses only. I still think the stage is "legal" for Level I, even if it's not... looks like fun.
  24. Same old devil's advocate ploy... Probably a Level I , so stage designer stipulated in WSB that targets must be engaged thru port... legal. If it were a Level II or higher, then shooter could have engaged targets as and when visible... yawn.
