  1. Thanks Greg, I shot like crap, 7 or 8 mikes and a hostage right at my feet, my son shot well, my fault Cliff lost, I only got him an 18 pack of Coor's Light, if I got him a 24 pack, he would have beat Josh
  2. Good point, that's why my vote is for USPSA, why not have fun AND make it count
  3. looking forward to shooting with you Josh, you are the future of revo
  4. By the way, my vote would be for some USPSA matches at Caswell Ranch, Dean would set up some great and challenging stages I'm sure
  5. How 'bout a vote? USPSA or IDPA to fill up the third Saturday
  6. I agree on Lee gettin the money, but why do you think Cliff will win revo? Are you shooting SS or Limited?
  7. Dean, I had a feeling this was coming. I knew you were not making any money on the matches. I for one want to thank you for giving us ICORE matches and for all the work you, and Bev, did to get ICORE in our great State. To all of you out there that have been to all the matches, thanks to you as well, to all the shooters in the area that own revolvers and have not come out to support a local range owner and friend, well, as I try to remain civil, I will refrain. How 'bout some USPSA instead of more IDPA? Just a thought, as USPSA is a little closer to ICORE than IDPA
  8. Look forward to the day when he starts beating you on a regular basis, like mine does now!!
  9. Will Cliff win the coveted hat off little Lee's head? Will Lee walk away with another $50.00, thus cutting into Cliff's beer fund? Will Junior Josh win yet another match? Will John Z. Jr. kick my butt at my own game? Go to Va/Md section match to watch all the drama unfold this coming Saturday
  10. A great one is gone, thanks for the music, RIP
  11. This is really getting pretty disgusting, I'm headin over to the IDPA forum
  12. Many stages are set up with 4 targets in an area, thus you must do a reload, try to plan your shots so that the last target (after your first 6 shots) is engageable while leaving the area, also make every shot count, as you have none to spare, good luck
  13. Not only is Cliff the undisputed revo champ, he now works for HUD and will get me back in my house at the Carolina Cup !!!! Get ready Craig, Cliff is due
  14. Remember the "tent" stage, yesterday we had a chance to shoot it again in the ICORE match, but this time it was 2 shots to each, with a few more non-threats mixed in. The times for that stage looked like total match times, thanks again Dean !!!
  15. Welcome, I left The People's Republic of NJ back in the 80's, enjoy the sport
  16. I have a use for the JM grips if you no longer want them, bring them tomorrow to the match
  17. Look forward to shooting with you Tom, try to bring someone else along if you can
  18. Having read all that has been added, I find now that I must agree with those against the 22's. My initial reaction was yes, anything to get more people shooting, but after reading what everyone has posted, I feel you folks were right and your reasons are well received, so I was wrong with my initial yes vote. It did get me thinking back to the first IDPA "style" match that I attended a few years ago with my 6" S&W 57 .41 Mag and HKS speedloaders and no vest. I was allowed to shoot and someone lent me a vest, that was over 100+ matches ago. If someone new shows up at a local match, let 'em shoot, maybe not for score if the gear is not proper, but let 'em shoot and they will come back, we hope.
  19. Pretty much 686 as Forrest said, if you get the 4", you can also use it in IDPA, go with the 6" if you want to shoot USPSA as well, although the 4" will still work well for all 3 games, comp 3's in the triple holders seems to be the ticket
  20. My girlfriend and I are taking the class in NC at Pitt County next month, look forward to seeing the SC shooters come up, and everyone else, Pitt County puts on a great match and I'm sure the class will be first rate as well
  21. I'm sure Bob will use that in his advertising
  22. Is this what we have become as revo's? If this keeps up, it's Glock time, by the way Cliff, that does not look IDPA legal
  23. Very good point, how many shooters run a tricked out pistol to shoot faster, and then after the match, all the gear comes off and a J-frame slips in the back pocket or purse, just a thought
  24. I use the 4 post in front, but when I see Bob at Va/Md section match in 2 weeks, I'll also get a single one to put behind the gun, this works real well if you are prone and must do a reload
