Raicing gas. 35mm pictures or digital pictures?

Just an idea. Is the mag release worn? The mag might be moving up/down more than it should. Slamming it might cause things to bounce around more than usual. FWIW, the only time I've had a double feed was with super light loads (122 pf 147's) and a 13 lb ISMI spring.

Most 9mm / 38 Super Bianchi shooters choose 1-16. Bianchi is not as accuracy oriented as BE (4" X ring) but the ability to shoot a 1" to 1.5" group at 50 is necessary for both games. While some state that only 32 twist is necessary, 16 twist works pretty well for 115 to 125 gr bullets at around 1000 fps. 32 twist might be fine for a 115 at 1400 fps but not at 800 fps. Doug Koenig used to use 1-16 in his pistols..don't know if he still does. Torque and velocity loss with increased twist has less of an effect at <1000 fps than at 1400 fps. Rock River puts a 10 twist in their PPC 9's but that pistol was designed around 147 gr bullets. I suppose it couldn't hurt but it is expensive to experiment. Maybe talk to some of the Beretta Service pistol builders and see what they think. Hope this helps.

Finally saw this. Some impressive detail - "full value wind" and BC comments, click adjustments, wind flags. but a 50 bmg or .308 doesn't take "5-6 seconds" to travel 1800 yrds. Maybe someone misplaced a decimal point in the script. And taking head shots at targets in a vehicle traveling 30 - 40 mph!! And offhand headshots in a boat? At least Walberg reloaded.

While "90 to 95%" is a great measure, don't limit yourself to a finite number. If you do, you will be limited to that number. Maybe a better goal is to not shoot above your ability. That is your ability to see, to call the shot, to move smoothly. Everyone's ability is diiferent..know your ability; your strengths and weaknesses. That way you will know when you can push or dial it down. Play to your strengths. If you move fast..move. If your draw is fast... Finally, everyone's ability changes from day to day. Learn to recognize that as well.

And don't forget to shoot at it!!

Hi everyone! It's time to blow the dust off of the revos but it seems my holster options are limited. I'm a southpaw which probably will cause some issues. I've got a safariland 003 and hate it!!! I called Bladetech about the "race" version they supposedly have (that Rich Bitow used).. no one knows anything about it. Limcat has a fabled revo version but I've not seen one in either Right or left hand. CR Speed is an option BUT I looked at one a few years ago and the belt hanger screwed into the plastic since the bushing was too short when converted to left hand. Does anyone know if this changed? Are there any other options? Thanks!!!

Back in the "old" days (the late 70's early 80's), you could buy a decent J-3, T-Craft, or ? for under $10 k. Now, a decent J-3 is $40 to $60 k. A hangar used to be $50/mo. Now it's $300 - $500. IMHO, don't try to get you PPL fast..get with a GOOD CFI and don't take any short cuts. There is a difference between being able to fly and knowing how to fly.

After trying to fit an Ed Brown extended tumbpiece on a new 625 w/ the lock, I noticed that A LOT of material needs to be taken away from the front (where the thumbpice fits in the slot) so the thing can move forward to unlock the cylinder. I put the stock one back on. Is there an extended thumbpiece that you guys are using that works better whitout as much work?

BE, Is this similar to "visual patience" or is it more?

About the revo/bottom feeder difference: I've noticed that I have to start prepping the trigger just as the gun moves out of the holster to get even close to my auto draw speed. And it still isn't all that close. If I don't prep the trigger, things get ugly!!
