  1. My buddy at Glock says the G35's have been sent for ATF approval and the 34's won't be far behind. Dunno how long that means until they hit the stores, but it has to be progress.
  2. Love my Spartan so far, but the front sites are HUGE compared to the .100 Dawson's I have on my G35. Can someone recommend a replacement front?
  3. Ended up picking up an STI Spartan from a buddy and am having some Single Stack fun. Hoping to get classified at the special match at WVPPS this coming weekend
  4. Made "C" in Production and Limited this year, may as well go for Single Stack too

  5. Coach always comes up with great stages. Vids marked WVPPS or Riley at http://www.youtube.com/hickmanplace
  6. I will be there working on getting classified in Single Stack.... now to find some mags...
  7. I'm already set up to load .40, is the Trojan the best .40 if one wants to shoot Single Stack?
  8. Don't we do that here? Too many places would make multiple posts common? Same info both places or omitted info on one or the other? Just thinkin out loud. I understand the concept, there's just so much time to check the net and too many places to check now. No harm intended. Understood, I say the more the merrier to promote the sport. There are many shooters on here that aren't on Facebook and the same goes the other way around. The Facebook page is an extension of the USPSAIndiana.org page and supported by our section leader, Jake. The FB page will also be used to promote local matches, share vids/pics that many here might not care about.
  9. For those of you on Facebook, feel free to comment and share your vids, pics, and thoughts on the USPSA Indiana page

On stage 10, the most common method was to spring forward with ammo can and slam the bottom of it into the port, then draw while the door was dropping, since it was a pretty slow drop. Engage the back four, back out while reloading, then shooting both sides. Some went all the way back to the start, some just barely clearing the wall. We didn't call anyone on the 180 in 3 days of shooting. Some of the Open shooters did it strong hand then went forward, a few put it between their legs, but most went forward first.
  11. What a blast! This was the first match I've ever worked (scoring stage 10) as well as the biggest I've ever shot in! Guess I can't say I'm a noobie any more. Big ups to the rest of the staff who worked from 8-noon, then proceeded on the death march until almost 8pm. I really don't remember shooting the last three stages it was sooo hot. Big Pete was a hoot to work with and all the shooters were awesome, I have to say I learned a lot and the shooting community is full of great people. Thanks Jake & Coach for all the hard work leading up this, as well as the crew who worked during the week.
  12. Glad to hear you're feeling better, had me wondering there at the chrono when I came over with some water.
  13. What a great match!! Stages are fun and tricky, Jake and Coach did a great job with this one. I made it through without passing out from the heat, everyone drink more than you think you need to! When you get to the ammo can stage, say "Hi"
  14. Do want I do, play in them all I go back and forth in Prod/Limited with my G35, will probably play around in Limited 10 one of these days.
  15. using my G35 for Prod/Limited this year. Made my goal of making "C" in both already. Now the slow climb to "B"
  16. welcome aboard, you can learn a lot here. I'm still soaking up the info in so many of these threads.
  17. welcome from Indy's south side!
  18. I shoot a G35 in both Production and Limited. Gotta love having a transformer gun. Using a 180gr BBI and Solo 1000 at 1.125 Minor: 3.4gr Major: 4.4gr YMMV, but that would give you something to start with.
  19. hmm, wished I would have known that, I would have gone and shot that instead of the GSSF match.
  20. thanks for all your work and efforts Jake, we know this sucks and isn't easy.
