  1. we had back to back to back to back monster storms here in Indy, just no where for the water to go. Southern Indiana will be under water within the next week as all of this gathers and moves down. Sucks we can't shoot, but this will hurt a lot of people in bigger ways than just us shooting a match.
  2. Taking my first stab at Limited in a bigger match... rockin the D Class with my Glock
  3. anything with Rhino in it would instantly be comedy gold
  4. I hear you, I was (again) the king of irony yesterday. Was walking through a new shooter, helping him break down the stage and reminding him to scan the area to ensure he engaged them all... then shot the stage and forgot to take my own advice. Got caught up on a longer target, first calling a miss, then talked myself out of it, then realized I was taking too much time debating with myself about it, and started blazing away. Once I realized what I had done, I just blew it off, determined to do better on the next stage. Shot probably the best two stages ever for me. baby steps, I know. I'm having fun and finally bought Brian's book
  5. Bill apparently had issues with Kelly prior to that. Who doesn't make an ex-wife joke?
  6. I'm just glad to see all of the USPSA shooters involved in the show, great publicity for the sport. I just got involved last year and love it. Now my kids are watching the show and I'm hoping to have some Junior shooters in the future.
  7. amen! Shooting with good people always leads to fun
  8. I made "C" in Production - woo hoo!

  9. who shoots with who has nothing to do with the video nice video!!
  10. I had the same issue with my Storm Lake barrel. I sent it back to them with a few samples of my reloads and they are going to open the mouth up a bit. I have read this is pretty common when not using factory ammo with after-market barrels. Give KKM a call.
  11. Thanks for the input! I may give that a shot
  12. after looking and looking at thread after thread, looks like 4.0 of TiteGroup seems to be a good place to start.
  13. My search skills are sucking and I need some help. I generally shoot 180gr BBI's / Solo 1000 combo with my G35 for both Production and Limited. Problem is, I'm out of BBI's and they won't get here before this weekend's match. Buddy is hooking me up with some MG 165gr JHP's, but need somewhere to start with WST/TiteGroup/Clay's (or whatever else I can find locally) for a Minor load. Any starting point or suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I can load some test rounds tomorrow and chrono on Saturday before Sunday's match.
  14. anyone shooting these out of their Limited G35? Looking to give them a try and looking for a good powder combo.
  15. Can't wait!! This will be my first State match ever. I'll be rocking the "D" class, Limited style.
  16. Love my G35 in both Production and Limited.
  17. welcome to Indiana, lots of good shootin around here!
  18. i forgot the one next to the barrel Bill, shot the target right above it. I was standing in that right corner at the end of my run and was supposed to turn around and shoot the USPSA target on the left side of the steel along the barrels... just forgot to.
  19. that's what kills me, I KNEW where they all were, even walked to my starting point reminding myself to be sure to turn around and pick up that last target, then BEEP...
  20. Haha, you are quite right! That thing came off about two days after that picture was taken.
  21. Good point, I need to start getting to matches earlier and looking them over before we shoot.
  22. I just started shooting last year and have grown to love USPSA. I consider myself pretty decent at being able to look at a stage and break it down pretty well. Because of my size and arthritis, on larger stages, I generally try to find spots that I can move to, to engage the largest group of targets that I can, then move to the next spot. Yesterday, I'm on the final stage and it happened to be the biggest one of the match. I basically broke it down in to three areas and set up my game plan with three spots to shoot from. I needed to engage a target in area 2 from spot three, but when I got done shooting, I realized I had forgottent to turn back and pick up the target Needless to say I was PO'd at myself. Done right, I save a second or two, but forget and lose points for the FTE and 2 misses. My question is, do you guys count the targets to make sure you don't miss any on really big stages?
