  1. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Thanks for your efforts and reporting the data. I am at 1.145 with a 147 Zero FMJ in a 5" M&P with about 12 FPS variance and making 135 PF. Not sure on the group size as I have never measured. However, found the grouping to be close enough for government work.
  2. Is brushed the same as satin or bead blasted? If not, then what is the difference?
  3. Also, would like to see the data or comment on if there was any decrease in velocities when the OAL became longer.
  4. How did the inside of the cases look? Were they as clean as the outside of the cases? Any crimped primer pockets? Mostly USA made brass or alot of foreign brass?
  5. All the above listings are not even close..................... Disney Land / Disney World.................wait for it..................
  6. Yeppers...............tightening the screws in the plate about 1/8 turn on each screw did the fix. Now many handfuls of brass added to the hopper and no problems as the disc keeps spinning and dropping cases into the chute, Thanks all............
  7. Thanks for the response. Very helpful for future reference. PS............Nice set up....... I really wish I had a basement..............no can do because of the high water table.......Thanks Atlantic Ocean. PPS............Surf's Up
  8. And the answer is.......................?
  9. OK.....sorry for the confusion and thanks for trying to help........ The motor is running and the plate is no longer turning.
  10. I can only add about 100 pieces of 9mm brass in mine before it stalls. So, does that mean I have to loosen or tighten the screws on the adapter plate?
  11. I think the more appropriate question is....................What year were those pictures taken?
  12. Thanks for the tip..........I can only put approx 100 9mm in my case feeder. Every time I load primers, two hand fulls of brass. Kind of became part of the routine.
  13. On Wednesday, I accidentally clicked on the sign out tab. Then I signed back in and as expected, all the past new content was deleted. The problem now is that I played with my settings, and now for the last two days, I am not able to view new content. I have tried different browsers, and different computers and each situation still yields no new content for me. I can read and am notified when someone post in a thread that I am participating in. Otherwise, I can not view any new content. I can only view threads that I have participated in. I would appreciate help and if possible to see if I have any wrong setting as I am dead in the water. Thanks
  14. Wow.........REALLY GOOD PRICE.............mine works great. Much faster than the hunt and peck method. Also, the primers seem to flip in the plastic tray faster than when using the metal round plate to flip the primers.
  15. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm............I just finished loading a batch using only FC and FC NT range pick up brass. No problems and all brass had no problems seating primers on my 650. All was well. PS.........they all go bang too as and added bonus.
  16. Yep.......that was the plan. I was concerned if there would be any derogation of the brass due to condensation from being outside with hot to cold temperature changes. Yep..........That was the plan. I was worried about condensation due to the temperature fluctuations.
  17. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^Yeppers................That will solve the problem.
  18. Thanks for the sizing tip. Unlucky me, as the ebay site mentioned earlier goes from 10 to an 11, and I need a 10.5. I will try to find them locally for sizing purposes. Thanks for getting me in the ballpark. Zappos offers free return shipping and they have my size available, Might give them a try.
  19. I too did not want to do the wet wash cycle. After watching the video link that you provided earlier, I am convinced that is the key. Fortunately, I have enough polished tumbled brass standing by that I can wait for summer to do the wash and air dry outside. Sounds like a pain and time consuming, but I really hate the dust cloud! Thanks for the eye opener.
  20. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^UGH..........UGH..........UGH..................Thanks for the info. I don't think that my media is dirty (as in worn out) as I have only used the tumbler for six batch loads and using Walnut Media from Pet Smart. However, there is really a large amount of dust within the bowl and a dust cloud appears when using the separator I used to pour the brass from the bowl to the bird cage. The dust cloud was so great that now I scoop the brass and media from the bowl and pour it into the bird cage separator to cut down on the dust clod..
  21. If you can pick up a little corn cob and mix it in it may help. Tough to say though but it's worth a try. I find the walnut is good for really dirty stuff and the corn cob puts a good shine on the brass. The next time I tumble, I will increase my NuFinish/Mineral Spirits mixture to two cap fulls instead of one and see how that goes. If dust is still highly present, then I will buy some corn cob media and blend that into the existing walnut mixture.
