  1. I have a couple of the grip tape models now but I am thinking about AMP for my next one. I wish someone had one close buy that I could put a few hundred rounds through
  2. hated to spend the money but so glad I did and then wished I had done it sooner.
  3. If I uderstand this correctly, plated bullets are not ok? Would that include moly? Bare lead is good? I had heard that SVI was using a different twist than the Schuemman is it more plated friendly?
  4. WOW!!! Never hear that before.I'd LOVE a further explanation of that preference. Are you loading the 95's to minor PF? What gun are you using? What is it about the load that you like so much? (I guess the trajectory must be pretty awesome at 1350 fps). I am using them in a 9mm long dust cover limited gun. A 9mm sight tracker and a custom open gun. All loaded minor pf. The gun is super quick there is some recoil but I really like the way it feels. When shooting steel the "tink" happens before I get the trigger fully pressed.
  5. I use a patriot case. Brack is a great guy and supports the shooting sports
  6. Yeah, I really don't spend a lot of time trying to figure out all the stadia lines and stuff. I just try to shoot enough to know my rifle and my holds... We are shooting pretty big targets (most of the time) not prairie dogs. I have a Vortex Razor HD 1-6 and it is a great scope super clear and bright and you see very little of the tube so it looks like the reticle is on your eyeball. I also have a VX-6 it works well for me (I actually prefer it. Maybe because it is so light). I have a Mark 6 and a Valdada... not sure about the FFP and the reticles in both are very busy on higher power. I have a Docter also. it is a great piece of glass with only a FFP dot... As Pat Kelly would say, "pick one and practice"
  7. That seems like a lot for an OK hotel. Is there a special rate set up for the match?
  8. I ran a vx6 about 1/2 of last season I feel like I wasn't hindered at all by the reticle.
  9. I have a really long open gun and it fits so the pro shouldn't be an issue at all. The holster is very adjustable
  10. Would 1 round in your pistol make a huge difference in 3 gun?
  11. Second for the Trojan. A little less money is the Spartan. Both pretty good values.
  12. You can use a 9mm shell plate but some may push through .223 is way better
  13. I took my 3 gun shotgun to the Southeastern Pro Am. After shooting in the morning I went over and shot a little trap with it standing beside a guy who was ranked AAA and had a big ring on. It was FUN and they didn't seem to mind a rookie with a short gun. They did give me the option to bow out when we moved back to 27 yards... I only hit about 1/2 from back there but the tightest choke I had was a modified.
  14. Mr BF is hard too beat. It is really easy to change calibers and easy to swap the dropper from one tool head to another is you are loading say 9mm .380 and 38 super and you dont want to spend the mony for a dropper for each tool head. It only takes a minute to re-adjust it.
  15. I like vertx pretty well also. Tru-spec didn't hold up very well for me.
  16. I never thought of excise tax. Thanks guys. 30 days, wow
  17. I just got some Kitanica. USA made and awesome!
  18. Holiday Inn is $120.00 It was ok but damn...
  19. CTR-02 18" $2634.00 for the complete rifle. The upper and lower seperately are $2228.00. $1499.00 for the upper and $729.00 for the lower.
  20. I saw on the rifle builder on JP's website that you can buy an upper and a lower for about $300.00 cheaper than you can buy a complete rifle. I don't know much about this but why would that be the case?
  21. I like the ADM Recon. With a Warne I can't get the scope forward enough.
