The 1/2 day format works very well. I hate having as much as a 2 hour break sometimes between stages like some matches...

ok I have to admit... I watch the show and I did build a short rifle because of the show. I come into 3 gun from USPSA; I was shooting open in USPSA and I prefer the 3GN style matches and stages over something like Task Force Dagger. I am more of a drag racer than a marathoner.

I was 5024 and one of my friends was 4952 we are both in paid and squaded. Looking forward to this match! Coming up from Florida, these natural terrain matches ROCK. I left a lot on the table last year and plan on getting a little revenge this year.

Messing with the hole in the mag is probably not going to help that. You may need to squish the mag a little at the top front to back. Take the slide off and see where it is hitting.

STI's price includes a lifetime warranty. A local guy cracked a slide on a well worn match master that he bought used. Sent it to STI and in a couple of months he got it back with a complete new top end and totally refinished.

I have a 38 super limited gun that I have fired an ass load of 9 minor out of. So many for so long I kind of forgot it was a super barrel. Same aftec with no issues. It still shoots small groups.

I didn't have to modify anything on mine. Have you tried them?

There isn't any real disadvantage to using the .40 either. For the most part you are not winning or losing any 3 gun match in the 2-5 seconds difference that MAY exist between 9 and 40. That being said, the one person who said all of the cool kids are running custom 9mm's is right... look in the classifieds everyone is selling their 40's and looking for 9's

Do the Pro's have to shoot the pro series qualifier every year? As a non pro do you have to do anything special to get to the pro series qualifier?

I smoothed the area in the tube you are talking about. I didn't remove the lip but I beveled the side where the shells go in.

My 18" rifle shoots so soft and slow flat I can't imagine any gains from a short rifle
