  1. I agree with A.MC said it the best ---I had a razor and liked it. Having both in my hands The c-more is much lighter and I really like it doesn't have the vertical top cross hair it was very straight forward for sighting in .like the wind stadia lines as well I feel you won't have a problem converting over. just my 2cents
  2. Optic P does have a great price but I looked and its 16-25 days to get it! yikes
  3. That seems like an odd place to crack?
  4. I waited 2 years for an open gun and sold it a week after I got it. After 2 years I no longer wanted or needed it.
  5. The older AET barrels didn't shoot plated or coated bullets very well. The newer barrels that are not made by Schuemann do much better.
  6. I felt like this was a well rounded match. I like the optional targets but as a good pistol shooter I wish there was a little more stuff that made sense or had to be engaged with a pistol. There was just the right amount of rifle and all the varied distance was good. 99% of the staff was fantastic. I will be back next year for my 3rd FNH match.
  7. I have been using them for years. I have never broken one and in addition to adding weight they seem to make my guns cycle more smoothly.
  8. So far so good with my 60 rd. mag I use it for a good platform going prone. But only used 55grain factory or like mention above 2.220ol. I also have seen and heard problems in the past. But have not had any problems of my own.

  10. I have one. I have only shot it at a few majors. So far I'm a fan. I have a vortex razor only have that to compare with. It seems half the weight if you have both in your hands. I was able to try Todds out before I bought one. Glass is very clear and dot is bright and round. If you live in Florida your more than welcome to try mine. I was able to get mine under 2k
  11. Same set up, clamp on GB and ultra lite handguard. the rifle was assembled by SLR they are only a few miles from me. If work didn't always get in the way of my fun I would have already went by there. I wish I could get pictures of what I am talking about. maybe .080 is wrong, it is very close. It may not even be the problem but I want sub MOA and I can't seem to even get MOA. I am talking off a solid bench using a rest
  12. I have used 350 with 9 in an open minor gun. i will look for the load data and let you know.
  13. It has a special barrel nut and the handguard slips over it and has a ciple of cross bolts. I will take a look at it and see if it can be moved over. There is very little clearance. Maybe .080?
  14. My rifle has an SLR hand guard and the SLR gas block. They are made to work together but the fit is extremely tight. The gas block seems to be hitting the handguard during firing. As long as this is consistent will it have an adverse affect on accuracy? I am asking because the rifle is fairly accurate but not a tac driver.
  15. +1. When the buzzer goes off, everything goes out the window but I am trying to tell that to myself as I am shooting. I think I am going to try to actually talking to myself out loud as I am shooting next time. Maybe a little pre-buzzer routine will help also.
  16. The great thing about shooting single stack is you will probably be top 10. It isn't ine of the most popular divisions. Everyone has given you great advice already. Your time is saved while doing everything other than shooting. The shooting takes less time than the draw the reloading and the moving good luck.
  17. I have had some j-points. They are so light they hold up better to the pounding than something heavier mounted on a slide.
  18. I just got a new TTI M2 and Taran called and talked me into a 24" it is the new hot ticket. I travel with a guy that shoots a 1301C and that gun has been 100% reliable through rain mud etc. he is not great on maintenance. Either the Benelli or the Beretta would make s great gun for you.
  19. BHW is a great supporter of 3 gun. I see their products on prize tables at every match. I try and support companies that support our sport.
  20. Thanks for all the input guys. That CMT build looks really sharp/clean and has the options I'm looking for. Yes-- that has a lot of value to me
  21. I saw a post the other day for a shotgun match that said "no flite control" I thought that was a little strange.
  22. I have that on my rifle now Mark.
  23. A couple of us shot some trap at south river gun club after last years club championship 3 gun match at Atlanta 3 gun. A couple of really good trap shooters let us shoot with them. I broke I think 22 with my be Benelli and a light mod choke. They asked us if we wanted to shoot 27 yards with them. I took it as a token of respect for how we handled ourselves while enjoying their sport. I think i only broke 10 or 12 with my 21" gun and light mod choke but it sure was fun trying.
  24. I haven't seen a shotgun one at a match yet but I know it is only a matter of time before it happens. I did have to shoot one with a rifle once. It was tough! I carry a box of high brass #6 in my bag just in case.
  25. I like the idea of no forward assist in the upper.
