  1. I think Guy Neill hit the firing pin on the primer, so to speak.
  2. So what did you find out the hard way? I was just looking at my barrel again when I took a pic for the other thread on this forum. I can't decide if it looks like stainless or even hard chrome.
  3. Sorry for the HUGE delay. This is the best pic I could get. I don't think I have much of a macro feature and my photog skills absolutely blow. Anyway, the biggest ding on the face of the muzzle is at the 9 o'clock position, although there is a smaller one at 6 o'clock as well that isn't visible in pictures.
  4. My Match looks to be stainless, but my older, small frame 9mm with Wonderfinish has a carbon barrel in the raw.
  5. I have no idea what the heck she was saying, but boy howdy, can she shoot!
  6. Sub inch groups should be easy with quality ammo or handloads off a benchrest. Seriously? That's outstanding if so...I mean bullseye gun quality! Thanks for your input.
  7. I'm thinking of picking up a LNIB SP01 Tactical (I'd prefer to not have the decocker, but the price is right). I'm just curious what kind of 25 yard groups this pistol is capable of.
  8. Could we see some pictures? leo Sorry, Leo, I just realized you were talking to me, not 10mmjunkie. I'll see what I can do about some pics later, but I'm not a good photographer at all...so the dings might not be very visible in any pics I take.
  9. The crown on my Match 40 is similar to the what the original poster describes. Mine shoots very well so far. I'm more concerned with the ding/dent on the very end (face) of my barrel...it looks pretty bad (came that way from the factory), but fortunately doesn't quite touch the crown.
  10. mebehr, I'd love to see some pics of your mag mods. I guess I should have just bought 10mm mags for my .40 Match instead of the stupid .40 mags.
  11. Rockhunter, I have the same exact issue on a 40 mag that I recently received from Henning. I was thinking of bending the top of the spring so it wouldn't impinge on the spacer, but I think your idea of beveling it is better. What kind of angle did you put on the bevel?
  12. That whole rig looks pretty sweet! The grips really add some class.
  13. Trend?! This is how the Blue Press has ALWAYS been! Well, I've only been a Dillon customer/subscriber since 1998, but you catch my drift.
  14. Not impressed at all with the Millet scopes. Jobob, what's wrong with your Mark 4 and which model do you have?
  15. Thanks for the honest review. I remember several years ago, when these new, ultra uber coatings started gaining notoriety, starting with Bodycote and their boron carbide finishes...and one by one they never seemed to live up to the hype. Hard chrome isn't the be-all, end-all, but it has certainly stood up to the test of time. Glock's Tennifer sure seems to hold up as well.
  16. So far, so good for me. I have the mags with the strip stuck on the inside front of the mag. I have loaded anywhere from factory length out to 1.170" and the gun has been able to load and feed all 15 rounds each time so far. Knock on wood.
  17. I have no words, just my condolences.
  18. Thanks, Mike! Even though I have been to Henning's website, I was not aware of this product. I wonder where Henning is on his shock buffer project...
  19. I recall reading that members on the CZ forums were having frame peening issues on their Elite Match pistols in 10mm and 40. Something about the guide rod impacting an area of the frame and causing the slide to become difficult to remove during disassembly. Has anyone here experienced that?
  20. She is easily the most underrated pop star. The only one that can match her vocally is Christina Aguilera...but I really doubt Christina could pull THAT off. Bravo.
  21. Mike, thank you, that does help. My 9mm is a full size, small frame, Wonderfinish. Do you notice an precision difference between your 10mm and 40 match?
  22. I recently scored an Elite Match in .40 (non rail, LPA adj sights). Here are my questions...I'd appreciate any answers you would provide: 1) Does my barrel have polygonal rifling and/or how can I tell if it does? Glocks claim polygonal rifling, but they look like regular rifling to me compared to the HK barrels. 2) Are all the barrels that EAA sells now 'match grade' stainless barrels? In other words, are they the same quality as the barrel I have in my Match? Witness barrels 3) I have an older, small-frame 9mm Witness (circa 1998). Will the full size barrel on EAA's sight above fit my Witness? The upper lugs on my current 9mm barrel are peened and rolled over on the edges. Thanks!
  23. Cocobolo, Was the replacement barrel you bought a factory barrel like the ones you can order through EAA's website?
