  1. how about just having a threaded end, lol. let us figure out what to put on it haha. shape up a threaded rod to go in the bolt. i'll thread a hardwood handle on it.
  2. How about a paddle like the first one without any fancy cuts? Or, make it a little smaller with no cuts?
  3. dude, you could cut a slot in the side of rebar to wedge the stock handle. just sayin'.
  4. I'm in for anything that's better than stock!
  5. You can always test it by pushing down on the extractor into the slide when empty to move it back and forth. If it don't feel right I might wait a year then clean it.
  6. The cast has already come off, I shot my first match with a crutch the other night - and I wasn't last place!
  7. every year, trigger return spring and new slide stop. like glenn said, having a replacement and doing a replacement are two different things. i would also keep a spare extractor and extractor spring on hand. i also have a shtf 15 lb trigger mainspring so in case i have a light strike i can really heavy up the hammer. or if you have the money, hire me to follow you to every match, i can even shoot for you too. not responsible for any mikes.
  8. I will take whatever so long as it aint an arm and a leg...
  9. Nice! keep us posted. It's the last thing my little noisemaker could use.
  10. Custom rigging for my SP-01 while I am in recovery.
  11. webstore times out ccg is responding but the files look like they're missing on the server
  12. trigger wise between the two they can be done the same. in terms of handling i would run with the larger, heavier TS. it can be lightened and the grip reduced if you need to, just takes a couple dollars. i preferred the smaller, lighter gun. but down here nobody shoots L10, so... back to production i went.
  13. also, sky is the limit with the trigger. we once weighed my little 40 at around 1lb SA only.
  14. already tried it. best i could do was 15 rounds in the mags, if even. went with a TS instead. left the small frame 40 cz for lim 10.
  15. strip the slide and clean the lower. if the screw backs out and there is insufficient trigger bar spring pressure, the trigger bar will submarine under the sear leg. don't know about the mag catch, probably really dirty. is the button harder to hit? unless one leg of the trigger bar spring came out from under the trigger bar. just take a quick look at it.
  16. Bubbasmith. Took a total of 4 coils off the factory spring after 2 wasn't enough. Now it is starting to cycle just fine.
  17. Was going to use mine at the benelli rockcastle shotgun championship but blew up my ankle on stage 3 of 18, lol. Now I'm out of shooting for two months. So far I have in it: $350 - used 712 18.5" utility $60 used nordic +4 $20 bought a hiviz cert for a tricomp sight drilled the gas ports .015 larger lightened the recoil spring the stock spring was just too heavy to cycle federal loads. at first i was a single shot. then i drilled the gas ports, and then it would cycle, but not hard enough to eject the hull. then i lightened the stock spring and it cycles no problem. only thing i would probably need are chokes, but of the two i got with it, the tighter seems to behave like a light mod, so i left it in there and called it a day.
  18. correct, enlarge both ends so that it does not move. is it metal around it? on my metal framed CZs i just punch it out since it's softer than the steel frame. otherwise, CZ custom sells an improved trigger pin that i found to be slightly oversize.
  19. use a pointed punch to spread out both sides so it doesn't move.
  20. Cant see it being legal for production and the like, but for limited, sure...
  21. The children are of no value (anyone can make them) unless they're old enough to work and have skills. Can any of them work a RL550B or at least pick up brass as it falls (but also stay reasonably safely out of the way)? They can pick brass too! They're shorter, so they don't have to bend down as far. While I wouldn't have them pulling the lever, they can load primer tubes and case gause and keep the brass, bullet, and powder hoppers full. when they get older, they can drive you to matches as well!
  22. Well last time I traded for Pmags all I got were the pictures. I guess if I want the real thing I'll have to ante up. Anybody want volcano insurance?
  23. I have three small children, a horse, and a sack of rice to trade...
  24. Just an update. I tried enlarging the gas ports .015, and the shotty went from bolt action to just barely cycling. I think I will try a lighter recoil spring.
  25. When you guys broke your trigger spring, do you keep yours wet with lube, or dry? Was it rebent to lighten pull weight? I am keeping stats on that data.... Thanks!
