  1. it's the 85 combat trigger, which is the ambi version of the 75. and the sp-01 is just a version of the 75. the trigger is also a factory part. read the production rules in the rulebook, it's covered there that certain parts are interchangeable.
  2. testing hodgdon clays this weekend under 124 and 147 for the heck of it. last time it shot too soft for me, but i'm used to a snappy 124 flying around 142+ power factor. hey, i need something to keep me awake at matches.
  3. had to wipe the sludge off my gun, but it looks the same in that corner of the barrel. i can also see a sliver of the brass, but yeah i don't believe it's an issue. it's just part of what sticks out of the chamber for the extractor to grab. Conclusion stays the same: Effit. Keep shooting.
  4. Actually, my current cleaning regimen wins. At the end of the match, I drop my gun into a gun bag. The sides of the bag wipe it as the falls inside. No more than a split second!
  5. i can do it in 3. race ya! but i just wipe down and mist lube. nothing fancy.
  6. i agree, that's basically part of knowing your gear... and why i like TG. never clean my gun!
  7. whenever my gun stops working. for me it was once. but seriously, you need to know your gear. how dirty does the gun run? i would take a look at the gunk elsewhere in your gun. if gunk builds up behind hte extractor hook, it can slip off the brass and fail to extract. if it builds in the channel, it'll weaken the grip on the rim. at the most extreme, it would bind and not go into battery (similar to when you drop in an extractor spring that binds). just for kicks, here's my thread from when i cleaned the gun feb 25th... http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=146990&st=0

Also note if the FPB was part of the trigger job. If not, it'll need another one to be production legal.

  10. dude, WANT!!! been wishing for a long time to have one that could be used as a slide racker like the factory TS
  11. whatever the math turns out, dawson can make you a front sight...
  12. dibs on your tactical rear. just sayin'. i haven't seen any of that style yet though...
  13. i've only witnessed two slide stops break, but it's pretty funny. it was mine and another dude's CZ. neither of us knew it was broken until sometime after a match. i think i was wondering why it didn't go to slide lock for a while and then i realized one time that i went to lock the slide back and the lever fell out of the gun. it still ran fine i hand cycled it and it seemed to still work since the break point was on the outside of the frame. took the slide stop off my carry gun and kept on going the next day. pretty much the same thing happened to my friend too. he said it felt funny but worked fine as usual the whole day, and later he realized it was broken down the middle, lol.
  14. just polling: dry or wet? grease or oil? i run my gun dry and mine broke around 18k, or somewhere there. i forget... lol
  15. http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=159413&pid=1780604&st=0entry1780604 Stuart has a standard safety set for sale. Unfortunately, they are stainless. He may still be able to help you find something though.
  16. tens of thousands of this: 124-125 grain jacket (including montana gold) 4.05 titegroup 1.090" COL federal smal lpistol mixed range brass makes 136 PF minimum all day long. i load to 4.1x of titegroup to get 142+ PF, helps keep me awake while shooting.
  17. nice. i hope to finish mine sometime soon. my 712 is sitting in a bucket disassembled and i can't remember how it goes back together, lol. i'll get one of those nordic handles when it becomes available.
  18. i watched that video, and somehow i ended up ... lol
  19. just polling, but did you keep it wet or relatively dry, or?
  20. great, let us know when they're available. i can't get my stock one in, lol. it's also been so long sitting in a bucket i'm not sure if i remember how to put mine back together!
  21. the guy is like 20 lbs wet. i told him he needed to eat a burger before trying to set the pressure pad again.
