May I suggest Hodgdon HS-6. Several open gunners like it for the gas it produces to make comps work.

Anything rated for beretta 92F or sig p226 will work. I use and prefer safariland 771 on ELS or their belt loop, but have also used CR speed (has cz spacer) and others also use double alpha.

Yes, because there needs to be compensation for a lighter slide being thrown back. Ultimately the weight of the spring used depends on the shooter.

I got one of mine mounted to a QLS fork and it works great for 3-gun.

For some reason I couldn't get that clamp to work with mine... : shrug : Only mods are a tricomp front sight, nordic +4 tube, lifter welded by crums, then enlarged the gas ports and trimmed the spring a little. Runs like a champ.

Awe cmon, shotgun is the best part Happen to seen a big bucket of A2's for cheap I think that may get this price point down into doable territory.

i bet you could start with a threaded rod or rebar, and just cut the part that goes into the bolt, lol. it'd give us something to do with those stupid A2 flash hiders!!
