  1. The NRA reported a statistical double blind experiment in "The Rifleman" two or three years ago and concluded that there was no benefit when the shooter didn't know that that barrel had been treated. However, when the shooter was aware and knew which barrels had been treated and which had not, there was a statistically significant improvement in accuracy!
  2. HMs Royal Navy team seems to have completed the task before any of the USN equipment or personnel got on station!

    Esearch

Not sure if this should be in the hate forum. PC picked up spyware called esearch and everything I have done to try to delete it has failed so far. Any suggestions? The pop-up actually has a link to down-load removal software for $29.99 from the people who set up the spyware - cheeky b@st@rds - if it means buying a $100 package from somewhere else I will!
  4. Merlin This is really old wingnut propaganda.
  5. Just like to add my congratulations to all involved in setting up the weekend. Had the priviledge of shooting on squad 8, which on Sunday appears to have dominated the awards, HOA L10 and Open, High C L10, High C L10. High A Open, High B Open and High SS Open - great group.
  6. This is a real photograph of the Helix Nebula, although it's technically not a single photograph but rather a composite image formed from several photographs taken by NASA's orbiting Hubble Space Telescope and a land-based telescope at the Kitt Peak National Observatory near Tucson, Arizona. This image was NASA's "Astronomy Picture of the Day" for 10 May 2003. The picture's "Eye of God" appellation appears to have been a title coined by an admirer of the photo due to the nebula's resemblance to a human eye, not something designated by NASA.

  8. Has anybody used this stuff in 40?
  9. Leon County Club which is about 2 hours from Mesquite has a match on the 3rd Sunday- info on Area 4 page East Texas Section.
  10. I suppose its just as well that Wayne removed the Rhodesian Wall I had at the end of the stage!
  11. Measured just below the grip safety Para 1.350-inch thick x 2.500 STI 1.325-inch wide x 2.700
  12. Matt - in your experiments did you try taking the left and right front targets then running down range and point shooting T3 and T4 to take the no-shoots out of play?
  13. The only person I saw vault the gate at the section match was Ed Shadbolt - Super Senior!!!
  14. I think the Dillon advice is based on problems of the decapping pin sticking in the primer hole. I had some 40 brass that had been resized and de-primed and the problem seemed to occur on my SDB, however as soon as I took out the pin it went away.
  15. The Dillon manuals also advise that the decapping pin is removed when using new brass.
  16. Nik Paste across direct from the USPSA web page CZ 75 (all SA/DA and DAO models except SP-01 series), 85 (all models), 97-B, 99, 100, 101, 110
  17. Jim, The international body decides, for whatever reason(s),to align its list of Production guns with our USPSA list and we spend days debating it on this board? The vast majority of forum contributors here are from the US so why don't we just accept that the rest of the Production world now agrees with our choice and let it go! There are some IPSC internatioanl competitors who may have invested unwisely, I suspect very few, and no USPSA shooters. This is a none issue and I can't believe it has raised so much steam on this board. As somebody in the IDPA threads said a few days ago "can we go back to discussing shooting"
  18. He has always been with us in USPSA - 1999 Limited Nationals Stage 5.

  20. I posted the same information much earlier in this thread but people seem to want to argue about an issue which is of no relevance to USPSA Production class. As the IDPA boys say IPSC stands for Immature People Squabbling Constantly
