  1. Thanks Kurt ,that helps me out. And i cannot wait to shoot in Norway
  2. I finally have a iron sighted AR (CTR02 20 inch setup like Kurt & Trapr) But i never did shoot irons further than 25 meters and switched to the dot / scopes a long time ago so before i start shooting with my new beauty , i have a couple off questions : - At what distance do you normaly sight your rifle in with irons ? -How does the flip up from large to small aparture work ? (at what distance do you use the small and vice versa for the large ) -Do you normally use different bullitweight in a iron sight rifle ? (i only shoot 55's in my open rifle and rarely 69's) Anything else i need to know thats different on shooting irons VS scope ? (except that i do not have to worry about batterylifetime )
  3. I finally got my Nordic AR finished Its a 10/22Target Stainless and a cut down barrel to 16 inch ,I love it
  4. These are made in Germany by Hoepnerr en Shumann
  5. If the screw is completly out the gas wil go out (partial) on the side of the gasblock where the screw was in ,so there will not be enough gas left to cycle the boltcarrier
  6. First off all ,the swarovski is great at 1x but iff you go to 4x or more the scope gets the problem that you need to be very straight behind it and leaves you very little margin in that (compared to the Zeiss) I think the Meopta reticle is a bit to much ill. and the illumination off the hashmarks on both left and right sight are not that great ,iff they would make that scope with just the dot ill. and the rest off the reticle normal (black) it would be the perfect ipsc scope. I did give Meopta a mail on that and they gave me back that their technolgy off illimination is not good enough to make it yet I would like to know iff trijicon is goiing to make the TR24 with a donut ret. like the TA11 and i also would like to know what the eye relief and fov off that scope is. anybody got an answer on the trijicon Q?
  7. This is good that you mentioned this. I need to purchase over $100K in equipment from Zeiss for my office (ophthalmic diagnostic equipment) and the rep told me that he would get a scope at cost if I wanted one. I need to see if I can get to a outdoor store that has a good selection of Zeiss scopes so I can take a peek! Try to get the ''old model'' with the on/off switch on top of the scope ,the new ''lotutec'' models have a dot that adjusts itself to the surrounding lights (just like the JPoint or Docter dot) and that can be very disturbing ,especially when you also shoot on indoor ranges. The old model you can set to whatever brightness you need ,you can even see the dot on the brightest days
  8. Zeiss Varipoint 1.1-4x24 i think it is an almost perfect scope for ipsc ,with almost i mean if it could have had the Swarovski LD-1 reticle in it then it would be really perfect. Iff you ever get a chance to look or try the scope just refuse...............otherwise you will be spoiled and want one too
  9. Did you see this scope ? How is the eye relief ???
  10. I will soon be having 2 uppers for open class ipsc rifle and since most off the matches here are indoors i want 1 upper with a aimpoint.(the other one allready has a Zeiss varipoint on top of it) I want too make a choice between the M2,M3 and M4 and the micro T1 My first choice would be either the M3 or the M4 because off the 2 moa instead off the 4 moa. They are not cheap and i want to buy once any fundamented suggestions are welcome to help me on my choice
  11. The Nordic link does not work ,where can i find it?
  12. My AR with Colt lower ace stock JP15 upper 18 inch weights with Zeiss varpoint and JPointburkett mount 3,98 kg which should be 8,77 lbs (iff i did the right conversion ) Does anybody here knows the weight off a CTR02 with 18 inch with no optics ? and how much lighter it would be with the ultra lightweight 18 inch JP barrel???
  13. No i do not mean the recoil eliminator ,i mean this one and this one compared to the smaller one i use now (and you use probably too) The pictures below ar from my current AR
  14. I just ordered the modified carrier from C-rums and installed it myself (its not a difficult job) It took 3 weeks to get it to me after my order (and i live in europe) It works great
  15. The topic discription allready says it. I currently use a JP15 upper with an 18'' barrell and the JP cooley comp and i recently ordered a new JP CTR02 with 2 uppers (1 with ironsight setup 20 inch and the other one 18'' open class) John told me he will not be able to deliver sooner then march and the open class 18'' upper i ordered with the big version off the cooley comp. I recently saw one for the first time ''live'' and i would like to know iff it works better then the tactical class version ? I would like to know that because the new one is HUGE and for me it think a bit too heavy on the front unless it is signifantly better i would preffer the smaller one.
  16. I couple off weeks oga i organized a pratical rifle match for carbine's and .22's There where only 2 GSG 5's that worked without problems I spoke too the owners off the working ones and they both went back too the factory to get them running. GSG 5's also have a lot off problems with cracked barrels/chambers. Iff you hold one it is more like an airsoft then a rifle ,i do not like them so much ....sorry They look cool though
  17. Armalite clamp on frontsight $43,50 but they still do not have them in stock,i've been waiting for 8 weeks now
  18. there still available at Speedshooter.com I believe he has them in all sizes
  19. I found this while surfing on the net and it was on this site fabsports Did nordic not have a patent on this ?
  20. except for beiing very expensive and very cool looking ,how are the VOLQUARTSEN ?? Brownells
  21. What are the most reliable mags for the ruger 10/22 ??? I need to buy a bunch and preffer to buy the ones that work
  22. Does anybody her knows iff it is possible to make the Meopta k-dot so that only the dot would be illuminated?? I like the Meopta glass but for the illumination i would preffer that the hasmarks are not illuminated only the dot.
  23. I sell them in the Netherlands ,there pretty good for the money you pay for them From the 9 DMS scopes i sold the last 8 months i got 2 back for warranty ,1 had fog inside the lens (2 big drops) and the other one had the on/off switch broken off. Millett has just been sold to the Bushnell group and i hope the warranty still stays the way it was on the Millett products. Betty Millett is a fine lady to work with but she sold her bussiness at age 86
