  1. I allready bought the Nordic chassis for the ruger 10/22 ,i had the 10/22 target model with the bull barrel 20'' a couple off years ago and liked it . I was thinking off buying it again and build that one with the nordic conversion ,but in the Nordic specs it says Now i do not know about the diameter off the original 10/22 Bull barrel in the target model and i cannot find it on the Ruger site. Does somebody here knows iff it is under .990 ?
  2. I also did have a big problem getting my benelli to work without jams. Thanks to Kurt (and Trapr) it works every time i pull the trigger now oh yeah ....i got a nice pistolgrip buttstock for sale (allthough i like the looks /coolfactor off it ,it will never come on my benelli again)
  3. I have a colt leightweight sporter and an extra Sabre upper (flat top ) both in 9mm and i must say that shooting a 9mm is fun but if you want to train with it like it was an .223 i would go with the .22 conversion. The 9mm bounces a lot due to the moving mass off the heavy bolt and buffer ,on the other hand it is fun to shoot plates with it
  4. I have not tried a mossberg or remington ,but i do know that my Nova is alot more easy to load then my benelli M1 ,and the winchester 1300. The loading gate of the nova is huge compared to most shotguns ,the downside is that the stroke you make is a bit longer compared to the Winchester 1300 (a friend of mine has one)
  5. I use the Zeiss varipoint 1,1-4x on the upper i use most (in combination with JPpoint and Burkett offset mount) On my other upper I use a TA11 in combination with a c-more on the handguard On my 9mm AR I use the Meopta K-Dot. They are all very good scopes but i keep coming back to the Zeiss every time Since i am hooked on good and expensive optics and my wife says it costs too much I am setting up an upper with irons now But I must say that the Swarovski Z6i ill. from a friend of mine keeps smiling at me every time i see it on the range
  6. I tried it with my pump nova........my shoulder didn't like it
  7. I like the arradondo and use it on my 9mm AR and my .223. Why I use and like it? I do not spend time practicing reloads with an AR and then it makes it all a ot more easy.( i know ,Kurt allready mentioned it ) We also shoot a lot of matches with rifle here where you have to leave the box empty and you are only allowed to move with an empty rifle and can only put in the mag in the next position,so that means a lot off reloads and then the mag well comes in handy. (local match regulations ,non ipsc )
  8. Thanks Kurt, thats the way i go then
  9. I am also looking for an iron sight setup on my 20 inch upper ,are the centurion sights good enough for ipsc rifle??
  10. A friend of mine has a M2 practical and wanted to shoot standaard division and closed the ports on his barrel
  11. Sorry for goiing off topic ,but what gun was by VACLAV VINDUSKA ??
  12. I think you would need this from Brownells her you can get it LINK A friend of mine had the same problem with his Maverick,i think this is the only solution (correct me if i am wrong, please)
  13. I still have 2 of them in stock, but i bought them directly trough Matt.(a year ago) The only problem is that they are in the Netherlands and when they arrived here i had to pay aprox 25% tax over it to the Dutch customs and paid allready $30 to get them shipped over here. If i would have to ship them back to the states they would be worth there weight in gold. I sell the mounts over here for 89 euro (134.50 USD) shipping with track & trace & insurance would cost an extra 34.00 USD (without track&trace& insurance 13.60 USD) This would make the mount way to expensive for the US market. and i do like the mounts myself and use them as well but i would never pay that kind of money for it. The pictures are my setup with the doctor on it
  14. I use the one on the picture,i have 2 of them and they hold 8 rnds of 2 3/4 shells and 9 of the short S&B's I ordered 2 more in the 6 rnds version ,the long ones work fine but they are a bit big to run around with. They are made in England by a man called Alan and you can find his advertising on the UKPSA site, they are very expensive but handmade and very good quality. You can also get them in the 10 rnds version but my legs are not that long
  15. So there I was in Germany with my open M1 against the German Molot's ,and yes Mike you were right there is no way you can keep up with themwith a non mag fed shotgun, but i did have fun!!! Also many thanks on Trapr on helping me out on my last problem with the M1,after sanding a little bit of bite away from the barrel it was goiing great
  16. Well........ I shoot open handgun shotgun and rifle in the 3gun match in Germany ,the problem is that i have a nice working M1 now but i have never shot a match in open shotgun before and only 2 in manual pump. So the shotgun is really my weak gun ,and i hope i will get a chance to gather some matchpoints beteween the saiga's and Molot's in Germany. But fun is it gooing to be
  17. Well..... On the disclaimer in the box it says ; Any and all Meopta sports optics products sold outside the USA are not covered in any way under this warranty (North American Lifetime Transferable Warranty) So they also could have told me I cannot make a claim on the warranty
  18. Yes I am sure ,i bought 2 off the Meopta's (i also sell them every now and then ) the one i mounted on my 9mm AR has that problem ,the other one does not have that problem. I have contacted Meopta USA and they told me to ship it back and they would fix it. The problem with that is that it would cost me an extra $40 for shipping it back tot the states. I bought the scopes in the states because due to the dollar to the euro they are a lot cheaper in the states then in europe(saves me aprox $175 ),but they do not allow me to ship it to Meopta europe because i bought it in the states
  19. After some mail conversation with Kurt ,the problem is finally solved. Yesterday evening i got back from my shooting on the range ,and shot aprox. 130 rounds without a jam !!! I tried all kinds of ammo 2 types of slugs 2 types of buck and a lot of different shot The gun runs super !!!!! What did I do ???? I followed the tips Kurt gave me. - I took a dremmel and took some small ridges away from the barrel on the place the bolt locks into the barrel and smoothened it out -Also placed in the orig. shell cut of,bolt relase (i also found a problem there ,i did not pushed the retainer pin enough there so the bolt was a little bit binding there) - I changed the angle of the modified carrier a bit mor down - I placed the orig. bolt handle It runs without any trouble now (and it has never been like that ) I hereby thank you very much Kurt ,its great when people are willing to help with problems like this. Oh yeah I also removed the barrel clamp and my slug precision is also improved a lot ,i shoot without a clamp now
  20. Yes I tried hotter loads ,i did not help I did get some real good tips from Kurt and i am gonna try that first, but i do not get a chance to shoot my gun until wednesday or thursday I think i will have to buy him some beer in germany at the end of this month
  21. You have a PM kurt I did not get a notice from all the pm's in my inbox so i just replied some other pm's as well (i did not know i had them ) sorry for the late response
  22. The carrier only brings the shell up ,so far no problem... the problem is ejecting the empty shell out the gun , most times a stovepipe malfunctions
  23. I need help !!! I have a big match in Germany coming up in 3 weeks but my Benelli M1 keeps jamming and i do not know what to do anymore. My setup 24'' barrel nordic +6 tube and barrel clamp regular stock C-rums modified carrier dmw extended safety arradondo funnel JPoint The trouble stops when i put on my old 18,5'' barrel then it works good but when i put on the new 24'' barrel thats when the trouble starts. The biggest problems are that the shells are not ejecting . The new barrel i have is from the benelli distrubitor here in the Netherlands and i think its not for the M1 but for the M2 as you can see it is different (the one with the rib is the 24'') I normally run 63,5mm S&B for shot and Lapua S&K for slugs. I do not know what kind of spring there is installed now but i think it is still the one from factory out of the box. Before somebody here says ''just buy another shotgun'' we are not alowed to buy shotguns that came into our country after 2005 because there is a bit of a shotgun ban here by law (we are busy changing that but its not possible before the end of 2009 ) Anybody got suggestions to get it running without shipping it out of the country because if i do that i will not be getting it in this country back
  24. Yesterday i got my new Meopta K-dot with the Larue LT104 and tried it with one of my uppers on the range and i must say like the scope But is it normal that if you take a look at the red stripes on the side of the dot that the one on the right is just a bit more dim ???? I do like the Meopta better then my TA11 for ipsc rifle, but i still preffer my Zeiss.....(but thats a different price tag)
