EGW I think has the best parts. I shoot for Matt Mclearn (M2I) and that is all he uses.

Haven't done any new sv frames but all the one in the past (maybe a year old) no problems at all.

Is the match full. Does anyone know. I thought the match was in Aug/Sept Must have moved it up I shot this match about 5 times and it is a great match for the limited shooters. If anyone know about if its full or not that would be cool

Both the open gun and the limited gun are set at 19oz works 100%. now the open steel gun is set at 14oz with a 130 power factor you got to love it!!!

It's nice to have somewhere to go after a long work week relax shoot some guns, smell the gun powder and hang out with some friend. It kinda gets you me through to the next week. You gotta love the range!!!

I would sell the 7 rounds. use that money to buy good 8 rounds. With the money your going to spend with buying the conversion kits, you might save a couple of buck if any and you have your self a new set of mags. Just saying that what I would do.

Iam no 1911 expert either, but I run a 14# recoil spring with the same load of TG and 230gr RN. The mainspring I run is 17 lbs. Like some else said make sure the primers are seeded very well and I have had zero issue. Works well with light loads and major too!

I put some Dyna-mat on the outside of the bowl a few years ago and like butch said it works really well noise I would say its about half. Havent put a cover on it you might start running out of brass cuz you cant hear it!

Looking for a new scoring system for the biggest steel match in the world. It needs to be able to score 8 stages in raw time and penalties. Would like see what is out there.

here here hope they come up with a new plate. Ive been luck but a lot of people I have taken to have had the same problem. Keep on them Walter for all of us shooter out there loading 38sc

Ive been use them for years and love them. If you want to change the spring just use the EGW spring and the ID of the spring works pretty good about the same as the spring it comes with. I usally get about 50k through them before they break and if it breaks before that STI will replace it no questions asked.

besides all the cracked grips. can any of you guys that are shooting with the aluminum grips really feel a difference between the the plastic and aluminun? is really worth the headache. just curious. i dont have one and was think about getting one. Mick

If you use the grams 4mm base pad and the 13 coil spring and follower you should be able to get 29 rounds. someone else said check with a mag gage after is a good ideal, but i would not take any material off the feed lips. you only have to take a little off the the base pad. Mick

fill it up with Blue Wonder bore cleaner and bag for a week it will come out

if you are going to shoot a uspsa match. the tac rail adds to much weight. between the heavier barrel and frame you get to close to the 42oz mark.

14lb recoil 17lb main spring 230 ball 170pf is a great set-up
