If the RO was giving proper commands, "stand up" is not anywhere in them. The shooter is in control of his pistol, not the RO. He should know not to point it back at the croud, past the 180. Tom

Congrats to the winners, Pete, Matt, Jeff, and Dean. Pete won the overall by 24.68 over Jeff, who is a very good steel shooter! Thanks to everyone who shot the match. I hope everyone had a good time! I want to thank Matt for cleaning up the spreadsheet for me. The overall results are attached, and will be up on the PASA web site soon. We will be doing this again next year. When we finalise a date, I will post a date and link on the forum. I want to thank Ray, Deb, Tony and (David) for their work setting up, Duane and Ken, for helping me pick up my steel so I could leave. We learnd a lot, and I hope that next year will be even better! Do ya'll think that might stop the problem? Short answer, no. If you look at the reloading manuel, Solo 1000 is not recomened in any handgun smaller than a 45 acp. I was told about a load for the 40 and had the same results. In about 150 rounds I had 2 casehead seperations. I went back to Vit 340, and have not had any problems since then. I was using 180 Gr bullets loaded long for a STI. A lot of shooters had similar problems back around 2000 using 220's and Clays. It is just too fast for that heavy a bullet. A case head problem cost Todd Jerret the Nationals in 1998? or 1999? (it think) at PASA on the last stage. He was using 220's with Clays Later Tom

Hi, I just got back from the SSC, and we just purchased 8 guns for the prize table from Springfield! When we get more entries we can get more guns. We have decide with the economy to drop the late entry fee. But please, send in the entries as soon as you can so we can get you squaded and in the scoring program and other planning. Thanks Tom

One gun, one match! The plan is to have the stages set up to shoot a field stage and then a steel challenge stage and so on. Thanks Tom

On the steel challenge stages, you will run 5 and toss out one. (except outer limites) Shoot 4 and toss one. Later Tom
