    CZ 75 TS Orange

    Wow! I want one.
  2. Does anyone know how to reach Adrian through another method besides his email listed on the website? I have been trying to reach him about becoming a dealer and selling these mags. No luck so far.
  3. Oh snap! You know me too well DSA. By the way, not sure if you know, but Aaron Goodfellow did the slide and frame cuts.
  4. I like the fine details. I left the main body of both the front and rear sights in place during the cerakote process, so even they have the same look. Same thing with the mag well.
  5. I can't take credit for the Cerakote. A buddy of mine did it. I just came up with the idea and had to talk him into it. He does amazing work.
  6. It is a 9mm, designed to run super soft loads. The finish is a two layer cerakote. Silver with Black over top. Sanded in parts to expose the silver and the hit again with a little black here and there.
  7. I just finished up this 6" build, which was a collaboration of sorts between myself and a couple different custom builders in our area. I built it for use in 3Gun, where it will take a lot of abuse. As such, I decided to give it a unique finish to match the abuse it will take. I am interested to hear what you guys think. I am certain to get opinions on all sides of the isle here, but I really like the way it turned out.
  8. JP Rifles makes a nice mount that will work with a variety of dots. They make a one for the Bomar style cuts, as well as the Novak.
  9. Why not just purchase a Stock II in .40? I have one available if you can't find one locally.
  10. You wouldn't happen to have any pictures of the modifications you made to the Henning grips would you? I just bought a Match for my daughter and we really wants different grips. Also, which of Hennings grips are those? Another option would be to modify a set of Extreme Grips. I just need to know what mods you had to do. I have some copper gun grips on mine and love them. If you go to the new years day shoot, you can check them out and see if you like them. Will post a new pic of the match now that it is done. Go ahead and post a pic or two if you can. I may not make it to the NYD match, although that is my plan.
  11. The Match frame is a little thicker front-to-back than the competition frame, so the Henning grips (large frame, full length) don't completely cover the two open spaces in the back strap of the frame. The bottom of the frame near the magazine opening is shaped differently as well, so the Henning grips won't sit flat onto the frame due to interference. I slightly beveled the inside of the bottom of the Henning grips with a Dremel so that they would clear that part of the frame, and then I offset the grip screw holes (and the recesses for the heads of the screws) a couple of thousands so that they would slide back just enough to cover the open spaces in the back strap when installed. I was really proud of myself for making them fit, until I took the gun to the range and discovered that the grips became loose after just a few magazines worth of shooting with the grips slid back on the frame a little. I was ready to throw in the towel on them and accept defeat, but came up with another idea that worked out great. I decided to use those exposed openings in the back strap to tuck in the sides of a piece of grip tape that covers the back strap to keep it in place securely. It's a nice reciprocal relationship where the grips clamp down the sides of the tape, and the tape prevents the grips from moving. I've tried using grip tape on the back strap before without tucking the sides into the grip, and the tape moves around and comes loose after a few dry-fire sessions, so it was a nice bonus to be able to keep the grip tape in place. By the way... I had issues with the grip tape covering the front strap serrations moving around after a few dry-fire session as well, so I filled in the serrations with JB Weld so the grip tape would have a nice smooth surface to stick to. No problems with the grip tape moving since I did this. Even though the checkering on the the competition frames is really nice, I actually prefer the feel of the grip tape on my Match. Thanks for the detailed explanation. Looks great. One other question that I forgot to ask... The rear sight on your Match is not standard. At least, that is not what is being shipped on them now. Did you swap yours out and if so, for what did you switch to? Looks like the same one as the Limited (Competition) model.

  13. Should be the same price as the .40.... $1,150 is what we get for them.
  14. I have heard that people really like the 9mm version for 3Gun, although I have never seen one at 3Gun Match that I've ever shot.
  15. I have a chance to pick up a couple CZ75 Tactical Sports in 9mm. These are for re-sale in our store. We are just starting to get into the CZ game, so we are not well versed in them yet. I haven't seen one up for sale in a very long time. Is this because they are hard to find, or because they are not in demand. Your thoughts.. Should I pick them up?
  16. Funny thing is, I have a New Stock II in .40SW with a set of Extreme Grips that I can't sell at $1,100. That's Less than a grand for the gun plus the cost of grips. You would think someone would buy it and shoot .40 Minor. Crazy.
  17. Dealer price is close to $900, so I think it's fair to say that you are not going to see them for $950. The only way you are going to see the price come down is if the availability increases, which isn't going to happen anytime soon.
  18. I've been following that link for a couple days, but I would love to get more detailed info. Is there a link showing which stages shooters have completed?
  19. It's all good. I was really just trying to get an idea of an estimated value. I know I will never get out of it what I have into it. After shooting a friends gun at a local Steel Match, I figured it would make a great Steel gun. I can always sell it later, but I have other plans now. Those who know me well know my plans change quickly and often. Squirrel!
  20. Given that this post got zero replies, it has me a bit concerned that I am going to be able to get a decent price for the Banshee. I'm actually kind of relieved, because now I have an excuse to tell my wife I can't sell it. "Sorry honey, there just wasn't any interest". Actually, after thinking about it for a while, I think it would make a great gun for Steel Challenge, so I am going to play with it as a Steel Challenge gun for a while.
  21. The last 4 builds I have done have all used the KKM barrels. Can't say enough good about them. The first one I sent to my builder raised some eyebrows with him. He was a hard core Kart guy. After that first build, he was convinced. He did say that they required a bit more work to fit properly, but well worth it. He uses them now in all his builds. Some people call them the best barrel for the money. I think a better way to say it would be to say they are one of the best barrels period. They just so happen to be one of the best priced as well.
  22. I don't see much discussion about the Predator Tactical Banshee. I have one that I am thinking about selling, due to the fact that I enjoy my Akai Katana a bit more. It's in excellent condition and shoots great. Has a CMore Slide Ride mounted with the PT side mount. It even has a No Cost refinish that can be redeemed at any time. I was wondering if you guys had any idea of what it's real market value is. I would like to to get $3,500 for it. Is this reasonable? A couple mags would be included, of course. I know they start at around $4,500 new, but like I said, I don't see much discussion about them, so I wanted to get some feedback before throwing it up in the classifieds.
  23. Hey ShadoFan... How are you liking that HBar?

    40 Open

Just curious.... What mag tubes are you guys using for your 40 Open guns (non Glock)?
  25. Is this your gun, or did you just find a good picture? If it is yours, do you have any feedback?
