  1. lol..You know after watching my run on the plate rack you would think that I would never want to see it again either. However, after I calmed down a bit the rack really wasn't that bad.
  2. Got any videos posted with it that way? My 720p's are all here... http://www.youtube.com/akadamson1 Current mount position for me is top of headset band, not ideal, but it works... may try the sordin trick, but was concerned that the angles would put too much tension on the mount... guess I'll have to look further video
  3. I emailed them about this before I bought any of their bullets. They are referring to the undersize dies not the standard FCD.
  4. I have my VHoldR mounted on the earcups of my sordins. I actually mount it upside down so that the lens is at the same level as my eyes.
  5. Chris , With the swat mags and Roger Sherman's mousetraps you can get 29+1 and in some cases 30+1. If you need a SWAT mag just yell. I can probably hook you up. I am currently collecting parts to do the very same thing you did. I have a X-5 Competition, the extra 9mm P226 slide, mags, and comp. Once I have the barrel it will all be shipped to GGI. I am currently looking at going the route of a JPoint or Doctor mounted on the slide in order to make for easier swaps back to a Limited gun. Later, Dan
  6. That is the first time that I have seen a video of myself shooting at a match. I knew that my 45 Colt rounds were louder than what other shooters use, but I did not realize that they were THAT loud. lol...the first time you shot I thought that I had forgotten to put my earmuffs on! It was good shooting with you and the rest of the squad.
  7. Thanks Sam for pulling this match together. And thanks Brad for spelling my name right. My total revolver experience has now past 500 rounds and I think I kind of like these strange guns. I was really surprised that I didn't try to shove a moonclip in the butt of the gun at anytime during the match. Barring unforseen conflicts I plan on being there next year and this time I'll be a bit more prepared.
  8. And here is Robert Thomas shooting his snubbie Ruger in 45 Colt. 45 Colt making major PF out of snubbie sounded a bit like a cannon! Robert shooting the classifier.
  9. Here are a few videos I took at the match with my hatcam. Rich Wolfe shooting stage 9 Revolvers can even humble Brad Griffin Here I am stumbling through stage 9 I actually did half way decent on the classifier.
  10. That's not on Frank it's on me... send me your info PM and I'll get you one shipped out. Remember, this was for the Quinn I mount too. I had them with me at the match to give out, but there was no list of who was supposed to get one. 10-4 PM sent
  11. Barring unforseen conflicts at work I am in and I might even add my nephew to the list.
  12. None of it...STI all the way. I heard they're still trying to get a Sig Open that runs for him. R, Funny the one he was shooting at the Illinois Section was a SIG prototype that according to him was made completely by SIG and it was running just fine. But it was essentially a STI copy. I just went back through my emails from Max and he said he was shooting the same gun at the Nats as he did in Illinois (SIG prototype) and will be shooting a X-5L1 in limited 10.
  13. Hey Jeff, As I told you at the Illinois section. Make sure you put me down for a spot. The class that Max and Travis did at Illinois was great. Dan
  14. I figured Sam was trying to be nice to me by DQ'ing me now so I won't embarrass myself trying to shoot a revolver.
  15. oops!! I cut and pasted the wrong name the first time..... It is on the USPSA website under "match schedule & results" listed as "2009 Memphis Charity Challenge" approval status is listed as pending.
  16. Application sent today. I can't believe I am actually going to try and shoot a revolver at a match!!! This could be real embarrassing!!
  17. My DOH blade tech holster for my SIG X-5 pushes the gun out to 2 1/4" with a Stingray attatchment and a CR Speed belt. So I ditched the blade tech DOH and made my own out of a piece of kydex. Now I am at 1 3/4".
  18. Good deal. It will probably be full by the time you get back from Area 3.
  19. Good deal. Hope we can fill up the class in the next few weeks.
  20. No that was the Riley Conservation Club (which there will be another SS/Prod match at next year as well) The Atlanta Conservation Club is about 45 minutes north of Indianapolis and is where the Section was 3 years ago That the one that has the bays lined up back to back? That is a nice range. Yes, it has the bays lined up back to back.
  21. Maybe he is shooting Area 8 Thursday with the staff.
