Nice little range. I did my RO class there earlier this year.

Wow. I didn't realize you guys were doing this! If I can work it out at work to get Thursday off I'll probably be contacting you to have my entry switched over to a deposit towards this. I am a bit surprised by this though. Isn't Max scheduled to shoot the Area 8 Championship on this weekend?????

Front Sight coming out reminded me that I needed to decide if I was going to Area 8 or this match. Since Area 8 is full for Sat. and Sun. it made the decision easier. Plus this match gives me a chance to see the range that will host Area 5 next year.

App. will be going out tomorrow. So I guess you can pencil in one more C class Production shooter.

Wow, looks like I opened a can of worms! Well, I took a piece of Kydex and folded it over and drill holes in the right places so now I have a dropped no offset holser and it measures 1 5/8". So now I don't have to worry about it.

The way I shoot I am essentially shooting for no score anyway....but I am still going to "fix" my holster before I go to Area 5 next week.

DQ? Well, I can't find grounds for a DQ --- but I can't find any language either that tells me concretely what to do with a competitor whose equipment doesn't meet (and can't be adjusted to meet) the 2" rule..... I would assume that if your equipment cannot be made legal to the RM's satifaction you would be done for the day wouldn't you????

DQ? Sorry, DQ'd is not correct. I should have asked has anyone been required to alter their holster to satisfy 5.2.5.2

Has anyone running the Blade-Tech DOH been DQ'd for the gun being beyond the 2" limit??? I ask because I measured the one for my SP-01 and my X-5 and both hold the gun 2.25" from the inside of the belt when using a CR Speed belt.

Now, you have 3 months to get ready. Hopalong Sam, I am not familiar with the guys you mentioned. I'll check and see how the dates fit into my work schedule and go from there. It would be interesting to give the revolver a try. So far the only competition I have tried using the revolver has been a couple steel matches with my Apex 627. Hmm, I might be able to make something happen here. Are you in the Henderson that has the BBQ festival this weekend? H. And yes, the W.C. Handy Blues & Barbecue Festival starts this weekend I think.

If I had the moonclip carriers and knew how to do the reloads. I could try out my Apex 610.
