i had a great time at these matches. ron johnson, david hayden, joy hayden, all of the CASA crew did a outstanding job. thanks i had the best open match in a looong time. i shot a clean match and took second master. (got my mojo back) i'm still working on the limited shooting. there was an interesting thing that happened. manny bragg, henning wallgren and ted puente drove from area 6 in atlanta all night to get the CASA range and shoot the match and shoot well they did. lynn

As of this morning the weather man said 60% for Saturday and 20% for Sunday morning. Either way I would bring a poncho or rain suit. Also a set of cleats wouldn't hurt. See ya hey ron, please try to have everything dried out by the time we shoot on sunday, thanks. lynn

thank john, thats what we'll do if it doesn't rain. two years ago with the rain in jackson, i thought your target held up great! better than condoms. lynn

check the screws that hold the frame to the grip. sometimes they loosen up and will cause problems. lynn

i was planning on rain at our section match this year in august. so i thougt i'd prep some targets with varnish or something and remembered there was an article in the 'Front Sight' magazine. i noticed a post by bruce gary and thought it was he that wrote the aritcle. so i PM'd him. he replies fast and says it wasn't him. he offered to call the HQ and see if they had the article for me. then he emails me and says that it was article was written by robert woolley sept/oct of 03 and might be able to email me a copy. how cool is that! thanks bruce! lynn p.s. well since i'm so needy, who makes those step on activators?

hey linda, sorry for the scheduling conflict. i'm glad you thought of us. i didn't want to impose on you this year, well did and didn't, you know what i mean. anyway, we should be setup next year fairly well, so next year keep us on your schedule and don't let any reliatives get married....well let me rephrase that. lynn

dp, not to devalue your goals...but didn't you get married last year? that can take away from any shooting goals. not to say marriage is a bad thing. lynn

as it stands now, there are 7 stages completed, 5 of which are revolver neutral. the other 2 are not, one's a classifier (8 rounds) and the other will challenge autos and revolvers. lynn p.s. this will be a level 2 match. p.s.s. hopalong is designing another stage, so put the pressure on him.

hey jeff, the match hasn't been in memphis for 3 year and there are some extra expenses for us this year. plus, berry put a prize table together last year that was around $36K. since berry is the prize table coordinator again this year, i'm sure it will be just as good. btw, the fee is only $10 more than last year. lynn

the ofgc match was the best ever. i had a blast. it was great seeing ron and carinab. lynn
