  1. You assume correctly Yeah. After we both shot, I asked him how he came to the plan he used. He said there were less transitions, That simple. I am figuring out I over think stages. Yeah. It took foreeever to get the start buzzer the same. Of course I'm not a genius on the compiano.
  2. Wouldn't this mean that you are now entered in the race to MASTER?? bigbear_98 TY52609 Limited 79.77% AND,.... GO!!!
  3. It took me forever to figure out how to do this but I think it will really help me figure out what makes a GM faster.
  4. I grew up in south Texas. I can't remember if it was Corpus or not but a team we played in high school tried something similar where the "ball is flat"! It did not end the same for them.
  5. Are the Uspsa staff members volunteers or are they paid for their work? I'm not talking RO's, I mean admin.
  6. Awesome, Thanks Tom!! It was great shooting with all you guys. A good squad can make a match so much more enjoyable. I look goofy in the second picture, but I was freaking excited to have finished this match. It was a beast. Jerome
  7. Have y'all seen Tripp's sight yet? David Weers has been talking them up a bunch around here. It doesn't have any pins to break. David is pretty hard on guns so I can't wait to see how long his will last. http://www.trippresearch.com/store/store_accessories.html Jerome
  8. All that happened to me was my eyes burned and I had a hard time opening them again. BE, this contest may go on forever.
  9. Shot it in Limited Saturday. 3.63 38 points. 10.4683 HF CMcalc says, 93.14065242 percent..... I don't believe it, I don't think enough people have shot it to get a good base number.
  10. Why don't we make more effort to practice and workout together? Maybe the competitive spirit will follow us into that and push us to that next level?
  11. Yeah, I definatly didn't take 3rd B. I was competative all day Saturday with Aaron. I got bit by the reshoot bug on Sunday. Then on the last stage I got to take a mud bath to end the match. It was great. David Weers took Texas champion I had fun and it was a good match but I finished 6 or 7 B. Jerome
  12. Thank ya ... You going to post up your kickass run on stage 7?? MAybe... It would mean that I have to learn how to use this new fangled computer thing though...
  13. Criticize your self all you want on that run, you did real well. That put you in the top 10 on that stage right? Damn fine shootin brother!!
  14. I am currently near Birmingham AL, still have over 6 hours of driving tomorrow. Nearly impossible to enter the scores while driving down the interstate (1160 miles one way). I expect to be home tomorrow & I will post them as soon as I can score them. Linda Chico (L-2035) 2010 LaRue Tactical 3 Gun Statistician No worries Linda!! I just want to see how I compared to the Taranator... Thanks for doing such a great job!
  15. I agree with this post. Don't dumb it down. I felt thoroughly challenged. It wouldnt have been as much fun if it was just a hose em down match. I know what mistakes I made and where I could have improved, and where I did good. No reason to make it easier. My dad and little brother came out and shot with us. It was their first big match ever. They did better then some of the experienced shooters I saw on some of the hardest stuff. We all had a blast. HELL, You want to talk about Iron MAN!! My little brother shot it all with an iron sighted AK and an 870 on purpose!! Great job guys. ETA: I really want to see the results of Stage 7!!
  16. So how many have you received so far? Are you near the limit?
  17. Why the surefire over the PWS FSC556 in tactical? It is a flash suppressor and muzzle break. Not any other muzzle break is gonna do that. Granted surefire can be fitted with a can but the can is not what is being voted on. Also what do yall think would be the best brake on a 10.5" that wont knock out my fillings?
  18. I put one of these on my 16" rifle and love it. I was thinking of putting one on my 10.5" but am afraid of the noise. Any better suggestions?
  19. I carry a 23. I had a 27 with a mag extension. The gun shot well but I figured why not go for more barrel length when the grip extensions mad the grips the same length anyway. ETA; I carried a 22 for a little bit but it pinched my but cheek when I sat. I carry in a comp-tac CTAC. 23 works for me
  20. So OP, what did you decide to do?
  21. All, I am brand new to this forum, doing some research on the specific's of doing an SBR on a CavArms lower. At risk of rubbing someone's fur the wrong way...StealthyBlagga, can you provide me a link to any kind of ATF document verifying your statement "If you don't want to engrave your lower with your name/city/state, it is OK to stamp or engrave either the barrel or the upper receiver instead."? I do believe that is 100% incorrect and I would like to see anything you have that would confirm it. If you go to Orion Arms Engraving (http://orion-arms.com/new/content/view/26/84/) I see a lot of places for AR15's to be engraved for SBR, but upper receiver/barrel is not one of them. I could cite some other examples of conflicting information on this topic, but your statement is pretty definitive. Hey, anybody can make a mistake. I just want to make sure and get this thread confirmed or updated ASAP so nobody gets into any trouble. Sorry to kick over an ant hill if I'm wrong here... And StealthyBlagga - that is a great looking AR you have there. Regards, Phil Explains what to do and sales weapons http://www.class3weapons.com/class_3_faq_c..._3_weapons.html Explains what to do, and has all the forms to do it with. http://www.titleii.com/TitleII.com/Welcome.html If your gonna build it yourself. Buy a lower, fill out and send off your form 1, then take your lower and get it engraved. If your gonna buy one already registered, the dealer will fill out a form 4 and wait for your paper work to come back. When it does and it is approved, then you go get your lower, rifle. Jerome ETA; Good looking piece StealthyBlagga!
  22. OMG!! I thought about that a few times I went in there and the lid was up... uuuggghhh!! I shudder at the thought!!
  23. I agree with Kevin. The weather is something noone could control. Man up. I enjoyed the match. Backups happen at most matches. The guys of DT did a wonderful job! Dont let it get you down guys! Great match! I sent thank yous to all the sponsers. That is what the shooting sports need is people to back it.
