Oops, I should have mentioned, money is NOT an object. I just want the best. My Wilson 10's have always worked well and I have some Tripp .40 mags that have performed perfectly also.

Thanks! I have never shot IDPA before and only have a bunch of 10 round Wilson's and figure they won't be IDPA legal, so I figured I better order some mags, as we are going to start shooting IDPA April here

LOL, it shot a ragged hole and was BETTER fit than the last couple Trojans I've re-worked. One of the guys that got a Trojan recently through me was there for the test firing and he also though it was beeter fit than his Trojan. Hmmm. It is a basic 1911, but for the price it is worth the $550 I got them for.

I have both and think they are both good enough, although the CR seems more secure.

They let you shoot baby deer wth horns in WV? Just kidding, being the West and having mule deer in my back yard, I forget they make the east coast deer look tiny. Nice buck and nice to get to hunt with a pistol

If you just swap them, it might not go bang... Trigger job is matched to the upper. 30 yards is no problem with the service if you aim.

What's next, updating their guns? I do like the new pistol model guide, for those who can't remember the sequence they were produced.

OK, got my 2 today. Not bad at all for $570 Dawson is listing them for, much better fit/finish than the Kimber and SA guns I've been seeing lately. The barrel isn't impressive, but for the price, heck I should have ordered many more.

I helped Ralph Arrendondo in getting out +3 for the .45, and they are pretty good. That last one is tight but reloadable. The 21 rounds in 9mm is great, especially for practice where you dont have to stop and load mags all the time (ok I have 30-40 mags, but still ). NHO has metal pads that go with his magwell, but I haven't seen them yet, and Barsto should have some stuff out soon. Irv said he was going to make his magwells so they would fit mags with Arrendondo's pads a couple weeks ago.

Exactly.. ever see a really old STI basepad-- the big ridged one? That was designed expressly to be "flush fit" with the grip, even though the tube continued on down the basepad. Anybody that wasn't around for that fun should learn their history, lest they be doomed to repeat it. LOL, I just got 6 more STI mags with that particular basepad and was wondering, "What were they thinking?"

It won Production Nationals (with Robbie shooting it of course) so I think it can hold it's own. I may be a bit partial though, as I work on them every day and they fit me nicely. With Arrendondo base pads you can get 21 in the 9mm, 15 in the .40, and 16 in the .45.

There is no major in production.

Unless there is some super secret powder out there they major 9mm I've shot is HARSH, no way I'd give up the shooting performance of major .40 for 4 rounds of 9mm major in Limited. I know how to reload.

It was on youtube yesterday, no sound. Hughes looked like an amatuer, not the "most dominant champion." GSP gave him a beating.

Ok, how many of you guys have shot limited major in a stock/Limited gun? FWIW, I serious doubt unless there was some major change in bullets and powder the change would be worth it. In fact I would love for my competition to shoot major 9 in a limited gun.
