  1. Blue locktite on the front. Take your time installing the rear. I have 5 sets and have never removed material or needed locktite on the rear.
  2. Had great luck with the product and previous owner. Was using 3.4 of solo 1000 though.
  3. Comp-tac is extremely popular both for holsters and pouches. The classified sections is a great place to bargain shop.

    G21 mag pouches

Another vote for the tactical kydex. Great price and function very well. I have several loaner sets which I lend out quite often
  5. I have one on the truck from midway as well. The zev 3 connectors were hit or miss.

    Barrels

CCR refinishing does some pretty interesting colors and not to hard on the wallet either.
  7. I use a Wilson combat with 2 coils removed from the spring. With the VZ Operator grips I use (thumb cut relief) easier to depress.
  8. I have been using Wilson ETM mags for IDPA for the past year and zero issues. Colt has some new Metalform 8 rounders with metal round top followers that work perfectly as well.
  9. Boy do I need to work on mine!!
  10. The gun has made its way back from the factory and they replaced the springs and the problem is resolved. I think they put in a little more than a spring but hey, it works.
  11. So In a practice session last night with the new striker assembly........click......WTF? Looks like a phone call to Smith is in order today!
  12. New striker assembly worked like a charm. Actually lent it to a USCG Cadet for the Joint services match this past weekend. Ran flawless.
  13. Received a new striker assembly from smith today. Installed and will test Saturday.
  14. Just got back from Chrono. M&P Pro 9mm, Bayou 147FP over 3.1 of TG loaded at 1.135 AOL gave me 136PF!!! Didn't feel like 136 very soft.
  15. Yep, called S&W this morning. New striker is in the mail.
  16. Both types. WWB and reloads with federal and Win primers.
  17. I recently purchased a 9mm Pro and did absolutely nothing to it. No trigger kits, cutting springs puting light this and reduced that into the gun. Yesterday while at the range I had several light primer hits. Re-inserted the round into the gun and nothing again. Put the round into my glock 34 and bang? Took the striker out and noticed an obstuction in the debris channel, however, when I look at the striker as it it through the breechface not much is protruding? Calling Smith today but wondering if anyone has had similiar issues.
  18. I currently use a 21SF in IDPA CDP. I find that being a glock shooter a 1911 style pistol in my hands makes of the manipulations seem "uncoordinated"
  19. I am running a sevigny competition rear and matching F/O front on my 21SF. Shoots pretty close for me.
  20. I had the same issue with my glock 34. A quick call to dawson precision for a .245 front sight has the gun pretty darn close to POA/POI. Good luck.
  21. For IDPA I have been using Berry's 147's over 3.4 of universal clays. Nice soft shooting. Thumps down steel pretty good. I am now experimenting with BBI 147's over 3.2 of solo 1000. (thanks to many forum members for this new load) The BBI are very economical and right now out of my 34 with factory barrel they are 134pf. Good luck, welcome, and enjoy.
  22. I am running a 21SF for CDP as well. I am using a warren rear sight and F/O front. A zev tech connector some polishing and I am off and running. I use a TKW belt holster and matching double mag pouch. Maybe this year will be the year for CDP Master!! Oh well one can only hope and train...ALOT!!!!
  23. For me my choice was the SLP mark 1. That gives me 8+1 capacity. I ran it at a 3 gun match brand new out of the box with 10 rounds through it and It ran like a champ. I even let another shooter in my squad use it as he was having issues with his shotgun. What I usually tell everyone about benelli's tactical guns is that loaded with OOB if I had to conduct a room entry I would want one with me. For playing the shooting games you need a genius like Benny Hill to work his magic to make them run 100%. Hope this helps.
