For a movie about an event the details of which are classified (and likely to stay that way for years) it seemed like a plausible telling of the story. I enjoyed it.

Where are all the Tide fans....I figured the first 5 topics would be concerning their win.....it was very impressive.........could't put in what I like as I am not a tide fan but you can't argue with results.
Still celebrating...

I'll have my app inbound this week.

What kind of ammo were you using?
-
I think nordic was working on one. Try checking with them.

Thanks Chris.
The advice for long distance steal is good but I do fine usually. Today at 35 yards I was shooting the plate rack. But when that buzzer goes off it seems as though my sight focus reverts back to the open gun days. I need to re-read, for the I don't know how many times, Brian's book.
Red or Green fiber?
I have to use green when I shoot limited... (stops the see red dot on target, break the shot reflex from years of shooting open.)
-
What is the source for them?
-
Who knew they had rednecks in New England.
Did you notice he welded the front sight onto the barrel?
Bill
go 20 miles outside of most major cities and you'll probably find a redneck. They may not have an accent you recognise but they are still rednecks.

Has anybody dug into the m&p rifle to lighten up the trigger? I hafe a friend that is looking to lighten up his and I said I would do the leg work. Is it a hammer, sear, spring kit, or stone and polish the factory stuff? Just looking at my options.
It uses standard ar trigger parts.
-
I just gave away 2 of them for prop rifles that quit working. Got 3 JP alum. ones left.
Ah... Just my luck.

Love it with a lightened buffer. Bad side is they only lasted about 3000 rds and when they stop they STOP.
True, so True!!! I changed gas rings in my & it started working again, then stopped after about 500 rds again. Now it sits in my drawer.
Interested in selling the worn-out one? I have a off the wall piston project that could use one.

Removed... (I was answering a question you didn't ask. Sorry.)

Surefire plugs in the summer and for long guns. Pro ears muffs for pistols in the winter.
If I were going to use custom molded plugs I'd get them from Brad at Hear-Pro

When I used to run a jard trigger I ran into this problem as well. I found that adding a bit of overtravel solved it for me.

Yep firefox on win7 shows the same thing.

I'd be shocked if this went for less than 15-20k

Thanks for the feedback guys. This will be subsonic AR fodder MOAish accuracy would meet my requirements easily. I got a good deal on a nice looking Seekins Precision barrel to build with.
Planning to use some VIT N110 I have lying around from my old 9x25 racegun.
I looked at the Forester dies but they seem to be out of stock everywhere. So I am leaning toward the Reddings.
Tom i'll likely shoot you a PM on some brass if you are still making it.

Run screaming into the night rather than deal with Sendmail... If you just want your own domain for your email. Register a domain with a provider who will forward your mail to your gmail account (i use active-domain.com but there are many others). Gmail has the capability to send mail out from a user at your domain rather than your gmail address. That's the easiest way I know to accomplish that.

Just wanted to see what the enosverse thought about blackout dies. I normally use either redding or hornady dies. For rifle ammo my preference is not to crimp, and rely on neck tension. I'd be using reformed lc 5.56 brass. These dies would be used with a 650.
Thoughts?

I got to my polling place at 6:40 this morning... Normally that puts me there when they open I walk in , vote and walk out. This morning I get there and there are 80 in front of me. By the time I get to the table there are another 150 or so behind me. Good to see people come out and do their duty.

30ish... I could probably shoot double that pretty easily here within 2 hrs drive, but then it starts to seem too much like work.

I wonder if someone will try to perfect a gas operated fix barrel 1911? Could be the ultimate sight tracker.
This has been done already. Friend has one, although it's an open gun, not a limited/sight tracker. It's gas operated built on an SV frame and slide.
I think Fred Craig built one.

For what you want it for (load development) I would buy the unit from Basset Machine. One screw, no muss no fuss. Oh and it works!
Pat,
Do you use a cheek piece with that or does your stock have an adjustable cheek rest that can get you a good cheek weld. (maybe I saw that in a picture of your gun somewhere?).
.300 blk barrel fit issues

Yep, tight fit is a good thing. Some times I'll heat the upper slightly if the fit is really tight.
