  1. I have been running the Criterion 16in barrels and have no problems getting hits at 500yds. Groups are sub moa at 100yds.
  2. GMB

    G26 for IDPA?

    UMMMMM no!!!
  3. Let me be the first to offer to test them out for you.
  4. That totally blows!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope he reconsiders!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. AZ State match was hosted at Pima Pistol in Tucson, AZ.
  6. I'm currently running Canyoncreek pads and have only one complaint. I don't like the screw design to get them on and off. They run without issue and I can get 20 rounds no prob. I have a couple that I can get 21 in but I only start with those as the reload is a bit forced if loaded to 21.
  7. Am I the only one waiting for these to be made????? I like the design and am hoping the produce some soon!!!!!
  8. True, I'm hoping the moly bullets and my slightly shorter OAL will do the trick.
  9. Great info thanks. Gonna load some Bearcreek 180gr up at 5.0,5.2,5.4. Will post results this weekend. Hoping one of those will make PF in my XDM 5.25 with a little room to spare.
  10. I have had AWESOME results with the Criterion barrels and they are reasonably priced. As far as triggers go there are several to choose from. I am currently running Wilson's AR triggers and could not be happier.
  11. I'm looking for data with coated bullets and reports on smoke or lack of with coated bullets. Thanks. I saw their data and figured I'd have no problem making major with a XDm 5.25 as their data is using a 4in barrel if I'm not mistaken.
  12. I would say to focus on one division for awhile. Learn how to shoot that division well and then maybe change for awhile. I tend to focus on one division. I have shot production for a year or so, SS for a year or so but I always come home to Limited. I would say work Limited first. You can focus on shooting and stage break down without adding the addition of multiple reloads needed in Production and SS. Rarely more than one reload needed in Limited and Open. That's my take on it.
  13. So anyone had a chance to load this stuff up in .40 major yet. How about smoke with coated bullets??
  14. Sound like you might be too tense. Stop caring, relax and loosen up - just whip the pistol out there and crank away! That's what she said!!!!!
  15. The first two XDm 4.5 I bought both had metal triggers.
  16. If its listed as an OEM part it shouldn't be an issue as trigger jobs are allowed in SSP. Personally I prefer the old metal triggers on the original XD's and a limited number of XDM's before they switched to the plastic crap. Don't get me wrong I love the XDM platform and continue to run the 5.25 in Limited division and most of the time in ESP. I'm just surprised that more don't run them in Limited.
  17. IDPGay needs to get it together. If it's an OEM part it shouldn't be an issue IMO. The only real advantage to ssp again IMO is the magwell.
  18. YEs but PRP's trigger is an OEM part.
  19. That blows. They should have never switched from the original metal triggers just to save on cost!!!!!!!
  20. I'm with Sandbagger123 on this one. Heads shots at 20yds on standard IDPA/USPSA target is good to go.
  21. Well I don't plan on selling them. For a limited XDM Rich's magwell is the best option IMO. I have a pistol gear magwell on my IDPA gun and it works, but again Rich's is the way to go for a limited gun, I also like the weight of the SS over the aluminum.
  22. That gives you another reason to buy an additional gun. I have a pistol for every division I shoot. I do not like to change my pistol once I set it up for a particular division. just sayin
  23. I know some that have but for best results most buy an aftermarket barrel with conventional rifling
