Well he's wrong. IDPA needs to listen to the members.

So it appears that IDPA HQ has no desire to listen to the membership on this one. That truly is sad. Trying to fix something that doesn't need fixing. Sounds like the gov.

Defiantly agree with Rowdy on this one. I don't see the negative impact on the sport or division. It was clearly intended to be a single stack division in the beginning IMO. Since it obviously is not a 1911 only division lets open it up to .40 major. Lets grow the sport and encourage more shooters to try it out. If a person has multiple options with one firearm I think that is a win win.

I think IDPA would be doing themselves a favor by allowing .40 major in CDP. I am sure there are shooters out there that would love to shoot CDP but for one reason or another can't justify or afford another gun, not to mention the increase in cost of ammunition for .45. Let's go HQ!

The reason I posed the question is because not all SO's think like those that have posted here. I have seen shooters get more PD when they should have received the 0 or -1. I think that overlays should be allowed.

get Brian Enos's book. It is a great book. I had to read it a couple of times. I have picked most of my drills from a couple of classes I have taken as well as working the basics like transition drills, bill drills etc. Ben Stoeger has a really good book as well.

Oh I know more than one! There are those that just want the title and are content with losing to EXP or SS classed shooters. I would find it embarrassing.

That's why I love America, we can agree to disagree. There will always be sandbaggers. If a shooter games it to get a bump then I would say they deserve the continued ass whoopins if they can't perform at the necessary level. Personally it means more and is more credible to get a bump at a major match.

I don't feel that the current classifier is a true test of a shooters skills and abilities. Sure it's a starting point to get shooters classified but that's about it. IMO getting a match bump is waaaay more credible than shooting the classifier to move up in class. Just my opinion.

The shooting area's in IDPA matches are huge. So much room to shoot.

I would have to say my Glock that was done by GlockPrazision. Reliable, accurate and pretty.

Maybe they will ask for input at Nationals this year.

The saddest part of this whole issue is that HQ isn't listening. They do what they want until they figure out that they were wrong. That's why once again we can reload while on the move. Just saying. I just pray HQ will come to their senses.
