    ESP legal?

Screw it, gonna use it and see what happens. It meet the guidelines as I read them and several of you all here agree. Maybe HQ will pull their head out of their 4th point of contact and see the light. lol

    ESP legal?

Roberto Ray said it was a no go. Does he have the final word???? Sure hope not.

    ESP legal?

If the two guns posted by V1911 are ESP LEGAL why not a Briley gun????

    ESP legal?

That's what I thought. You should have a nice talk with Roberto at HQ Rowdy. LOL I just find the reasoning it is not legal to be BS. IMO

    ESP legal?

Here is the link I previously provided. http://www.brileypd.com/signatureseries.html Would love to hear the input from everyone here. Would not the cuts in the DVC be illegal?? This one is really confusing me. A DVC gun was used at Nationals with no issues as previously stated here. So why then Roberto Ray contradict himself, was he not aware of the ruling at nationals with the shooter using the DVC??

    ESP legal?

Please do and let us know how that goes. Roberto Ray is whom I got the information from, for what that's worth. I totally agree, if a DVC is legal then why not the Briley or Brazos. Hope everyone jumps on this one. lol

    ESP legal?

So STI DVC is ESP legal and the Briley is not. WOW, is STI really selling 2000 of these a year????

    ESP legal?

Just how it comes from Briley. Link with pics. http://www.brileypd.com/signatureseries.html Well it's a mute point. Because of the "panel" cuts the gun is not ESP legal unless at least 2000 a year are produced. So if Springfield, S&W or Glock do it, it's ok and now I know why so many call it IDP-GAY!!!!! I get that it wouldn't be SSP legal but not ESP, common IDPA give me a break. So looks like some of the STI's may not be legal if they are not producing and selling 2000 of a given model a year.

    ESP legal?

So would a 2011 with a full dust cover be legal in ESP? Specifically a Briley signature series 5in 2011, provided it fits in the box and has a bushing barrel. From what I have read I believe it is legal for ESP.
  11. Looks like a great opportunity for IDPA. ah hahaha lol
  12. Any reliability issues when using the CZ base pads?? Did you have to make any other modifications to ensure the fit and function with the CZ base pads??
  13. That rule needs to be updated!!
  14. Anyone know what's up with the website?? Is Rich still in business?
  15. Are those 140 or 170 base pads? Best I can do in .40 is 21 and 20 reloadable with my CC setup.
  16. Magazine release and a take down lever. I have had them both break, the take down lever at a major match. Probably just poor QC, but you never know.
  17. Well it appears that HQ give zero F$%^S about what the members want. They will move forward with the current proposed rules. Oh well. Good job IDPGAY!!!!!
  18. Looks like IDPA is turning into IDPGAYYYYY!!!!! Just sayin, no offense to those living the alternative lifestyle out there. Have a great day everybody.
  19. Increasing the penalties for hits on NT targets stays true to the IDPA ideal. Increasing the PD to 1sec is a move in the wrong direction IMO. There needs to be a balance of speed and accuracy. In a defensive situation the fastest and more accurate shooter will win. Like everyone else, I have no idea why the changes in equipment rules. I like most thought they were fine. Oh well. Let's see if the membership do their talking with their wallets and purses!!!! For the upcoming year we only have one IDPA major scheduled, the rest of the matches will most likely be USPSA and some 3 Gun. Maybe my thoughts will in the topic will change if I get fat and slow.
  20. One could argue that the equipment rule changes are a short term issue as well. Bottom line is what they are attempting to fix with scoring and equipment are not the issue's. At least you'll have a really cool carry gun.
  21. The biggest issue for most of us is the scoring change. IMO they are trying to slow down the faster and younger shooters. Steve Koski is on point with his first post and example to start this discussion off. The current penalty for PD at .5 is fine. As numerous posters have mentioned and suggested raise the penalty for misses and hits on non-threats. Hopefully HQ's listens!!
  22. Glad they don't have a life membership, I'd have wasted money. lol ahhh hahahahaha
  23. If enough of the membership choose to use their funds for other shooting sports and hobbies and their revenue goes down, I'm sure they would take notice. It is after all a business!!!!! I have recently tried 3-gun and I must say it's fun. If IDPA decides to ignore us then fine. They don't need my money.
