    Glock 17 vs. 34

I just bought the 34 MOS for all the same reasons stated in 3+ pages. Also for some reason the 34 is just fun to shoot.
  2. Southpaw, Burris FFIII w/ Glock plate.
  3. I got a new G34 MOS for Christmas. I am looking at optics for it and see that people are putting suppressor sights on as a co witness. Any input on this idea? Pro, con? The pistol is a range and compeittion gun nothing else.
  4. Just went to my bank to pay my credit card bill. I was told that if I was going to pay in cash that I would have to show a picture I.D.
  5. Ordered WC thx for the advice.
  6. I have small hands, so anything that had a little length would be nice. I have been eyeing EGW.
  7. I broke a slide stop during a match today (no spare). Any advise on a replacement? A fellow SS shooter said that he replaces his every 3000 rounds any comments on that. I am seeing prices anywhere from $5.00 to $61.00. TC
  8. I had the same primer detonation problem. Told Dillon it was MY fault and I would pay for the parts. Parts showed up no charge.
  9. I have two Kinbers that I use in matches off and on. No problems with either. The one in 10mm is the most accurate pistol that I own, finding brass after a stage is an issue
  10. Another 10mm fan. Been through a bunch Bren 10 (2), Glock, Delta, now down to a Kimber and a S&W 1076. Kimber the most accurate pistol that I have ever owned the Glock was the worst. I keep looking at a S&W 610.
  11. I have a boatlaod of 10's, you can not have just one. Two Bren tens, Glock 20, S&W 1076, and a Kimber Target II , and a Delta. I got rid of the Glock it was just to big for my hands. The Kimber is the most accurate pistol I own ( I have a couple of high priced 1911 that don't shoot as well). Handloads with cast bullets is unreal, but like everyone else has said I can not keep the brass in the same zip code.
  12. I agree that everyone should take the RO course. Look for one in your local area. The RO course is about learing the rule book and where and how to find the rules. I keep a rule book in my range bag and one by my computer. Stage design comes in the CRO course.
  13. I still have a low post count. I have bought around half-dozen items from the board that I would not have been able to with a post count minimum. Maybe a buyer feedback would help?
  14. Can someone describe the "pinning" process? Thanks in advance.
  15. I set mine off in my garage. The primer tube hit the celing and left a mark, that was about it. It was not the 650's fault I kept trying to seat a primer that was hung up.
  16. Luger P-08 any WWII movie or TV series P-38 Man from U.N.C.L.E Bren Ten Miami Vice ( I owned 3 at one time 2 in 10mm and 1 in .45) sold them all and am now waiting for the new Bren to come out.
  17. Darth, I had the same problem. Don't go to the P.O. Call and make a complaint. If for some reason you have to go to the P.O. make the complaint in writing.
  18. Curtis, Congratulation! I am thinking about taking the class in Dec. Any hints? Time involved, internet or classroom. Anything that you could pass along would be helpful. Thanks
  19. Blues Hog. Not local, but you can order on internet site. Order the dry rub to go with.
  20. Anything by Ed Wood. I just can't help myself. Kind of a moth to a flame thing.
  21. I do use Break Free for lube and protection on my guns. I was given several bottles and it does the job on my single stacks. I do not use it for cleaning. I use Ed's Red and it seems to do a better job than anything I can buy. Also a little JB bore paste in my rifles from time to time.
  22. I have six mags for my Trojan and they work great.
  23. The WSB overrides the App. E3 ( 5.2.4). Unless it states mags MUST be returned to pouches. I also can not find where a magnet is a "retention device" "specifically designed for that purpose"also 5.2.4
