    One GM's Glock 24

Micah, Can you elaborate on your magazine configuration ?? Which follower, spring, capacity etc... I am running the Arredondo extensions with stock followers and can load to 19. Would like to find a reliable way to get 20. Thanks Nick
  2. I will be there as well. L10 for sure and gonna try the wait list for Limited or Production. Had a blast last year and can't wait to do it again.
  3. Ah Nick, if there were, you would be the winner for sure. That might also be tied for the shooter who was in the most trouble for attending the match. How'd it go with the insurance company and the wife? JT Well.......I am on probation with the wife for a little while but with some good deeds that will end. Even going through my insurance it ended up costing me a big chunk of change. I hope to hear some good news from Dale concerning this but I am not holding my breath. This could very well be the most expensive match I have ever been to.
  4. Hey JT.... Is there an award for the most glass in one's back seat ??
  5. Steve, The map is correct, the range is tucked away in a residential area. There are a few hotels around Cabelas, not sure on pricing or condition. The area around Cabelas is still cleaning up from a tornado a couple of weekends ago. The next town north of Cabelas is Milan (my old stomping grounds) there is a hotel (sleep inn) there. Milan is about 30 mins from the range, nice small town. Even has a brew pub if you are into beer ! If you need anymore info please PM me. I will more than likely be driving to this match from Toledo.
  6. Great Match, thanks to all the staff!! Nice to finally shoot an area match with a decent finish. Shot with a great squad, mostly friends but had a couple of guys that were sure fun to watch. Max and Blake can make tough stages look so easy ! The only down side of the match was explaining this to the wife....... Thanks to Carl, Ray and one other staff member, as well as my good friends for getting this patched up for the 6hr drive home....... BTW.......Coroplast and Duct tape are good up to 95mph !!!

  9. Thanks to everybody for a great match, it was well worth the 6 hours in the car today !! I found a scoring issue........Chris I sent you a PM
  10. Thanks for the info Kevin, see you in the morning.

    Glock 34 in SSP

The checkering is OEM for the 17RTF but when you put it to a 34 slide....the company did not make 2000 units like that so it's a sort of aftermarket checkering. I was totally kidding about the ESP, but if you're gonna play SSP it's just that...stock. I understand what you are saying about not having 2k units produced with this configuration. It wouldn't be aftermarket checkering, OEM parts. To my knowledge, Glock never made 2k G17's with extended slide release and extended mag button either. Both OEM components and therefore allowed, whats the difference ? This configuration is still stock, there are NO aftermarket parts used.

    Glock 34 in SSP

The checkering is OEM, so it WOULD be allowed in SSP on the G17 RTF2.
  15. Friend of mine asked a very curious question today. Would it be legal to use a G17 RTF2 lower on a G34 Upper in SSP ?? I am not sure of the answer, since the G34 RTF 2 doesn't exist I don't know. Nothing in the rule book about mixing and matching guns, only there has to be 2k units produced. I don't see an issue with it, both stock OEM Glock components. What do you guys think ??

    .45 GAP in CDP

Talked to Bill Wilson at the '08 IDPA Nats about this very thing. He said........NO WAY ! CDP is reserved for the 45 ACP only.
  17. Great Match !!!!!!!! Thanks to all the staff that put on a wonderful show, I will be back next year for sure. Stage 4 getting tossed cost me a few spots but that's the way it goes. I was on a great squad (89) and had a wonderful group of friends that I drove (10+ hrs) down with. As always, it was an absolute pleasure watching Bob V. make difficult stages look so easy. Congrats to all the winners !!
  18. Oh C'mon............. Do you need some to hold an umbrella for you ??
  19. We need to build some new walls for our club. Our original plan was to use snow fence and 2x2's. We also discussed using 1x1 steel square tubing but not sure if the is the best route. Does anybody have any experience with walls consructed with a perimeter made of steel ? TIA, Nick
  20. Looks like a great match, fun stages and a cool theme ! Congrats to the winners !! Does anybody know what the frame for the walls are made of ?? Looks like steel tubing but hard to tell.
