I was about to order one. But that’s insanity, just out of principle I can’t wait that long..

I have a stock master setup for uspsa CO. I’m getting ready to start reloading for the first time and I’m looking for a “safe” starting recipe to get started with, and build from. I have n320 for powder and 124g bullets from precision. I’m using a Hornady LNL and have federal and Winchester primers. My gun was build by Jim at J&L and has a 5.5# DA and a little over 2# SA trigger. I don’t have a specs off hand for the hammer springs and what not. I have been playing with recoil springs and have it with a 8# in there now I’ve been setting off all federal syntec/cci blazer brass ammo with no problem. Most other brands I’ll get light strikes. Thanks for the help ahead of time

Agreed. I love my Timney trigger on my M&p I’m curious to know if the triggers are usable in the metal frame guns

You can get a regular stock master And have a better trigger done, For less money. That’s what I did.

I have a range tech. Cheap and and easy to use app Battery’s kinda suck tho. I keep a usb battery bank in my bag when I use it works for me

I recently was buying my first metal frame “race gun” I ended up seting my sites on a tanfoglio set up for Carry optics that being said I wound up having a few good used options both on this website and off. But I want up spending a little bit more money and getting a brand new one freshly built. These guns were new to me and I didn’t want to buy something with problems and not know how to fix it Granted it only cost me a couple hundred dollars more for a brand new gun not a few thousand

No way I would take delivery of that. I don’t care what they say I’d be firm on that

I plan on getting a 40 slide/setup to dabble in limited down the line.

As far as I know the difference between the gun you’re looking at and the one I bought is that the stock master is SA/DA The limited master is SAO. both have the stock 3 frame, same barrels, and slides.

We ended up chatting on the phone for 45 minutes. I was gunna have the used gun sent to him. He ended up selling me a brand new one for very close to the same price as the used one he set me up with every day. Extra magazines extended bases. Literally soup to nuts on everything.

Call Jim at j&M. He’ll answer all your questions and set you up. He had my gun out to me in a week. He does amazing trigger work too

I had them coated from Jim from j&L Huge difference over the stock grips, other then that I have nothing to compare them too other then stock grips I have medium to large hands and I find them perfect for me.. they’re thinner and thicker where they need to be. I highly recommend them

Seems like the 5” are the problems. it’s they work the kinks out of them, they seem like a home run for the price point

I’m no where near as hard core as a lot of you guys, but I’ll field strip and clean my barrel after every shoot. I spray the slide and inside the frame, And wipe everything down. Further stretches I’ll stipe everything and give it a detailing. I figure it can’t hurt to be clean and freshly oiled. Plus it’s kinda relaxing to clean my stuff
