Looks for Match (2/11)

  1. Hopefully you are in the wa state shooters page. I'm sure we will be seeing you around as most of us travel to all the local monthly matches. There are so many Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  2. Carbine length buffer tube Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  3. Id say do a shooting innovations recoil reducer for your buffer Or what I run. Blitzkrieg hydro buffer. JP 308 rifle length spring, delrin spacer and 25# wave spring limiting bolt travel does wonders for cycle time and dot bounce
  4. with that amount of work you could probly just buy a stripped AR upper instead. They are cheap.
  5. I used a riser for my Venom and my DPP on my PCC. now I use a Holsun 510C. no riser needed for that you can get a cheap riser on amazon. .5 inch and .75 inch about $11 each
  6. are most slide rackers the same cut? I got a gun that had flat slide racker on the right side of the gun (previous owner was a lefty) I want to put a sidewinder on the left side as I am right handed and I don't wanna tear my thumb up with the flat racker. will it just install or is there going to be fitting involved?
  7. I am also interested to know this answer. I know the steel can run factory ammo but I'd like to know how it runs with major loads compared to the open

    Primers

so if you have the choice between Magnum pistol or Small rifle which ones? regular small pistol can be bad depending on pressure?
  9. Jones arms kronos- 16" ballistic advantage barrel, faxon bolt (weight removed), hiperfire 243g trigger, blitzkrieg buffer with jp 308 rifle length spring, delrin spacer and 25# wave spring 124 grain round nose xtreme, 3.2 grains titegroup, winchester primers, at 1.125 OAL. Makes 130 pf 7k rounds on the gun so far and have had zero ftf, fte or malfs of any kind. The gun cycles very quickly as my buffer set up moves just far enough to reset reset the trigger and feed the next bullet. Dot bounce is straight 12 o,clock about an inch and then immediately back to zero. Tests were done on scaled targets at 15 yards. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  10. Here is why I went with jones arms and their kronos. 1. The magazine angle and distance change. The gun runs everything. Doesnt matter what barrel you run, it will feed any round. No ramp or modifications needed. My previous pcc would not run hollow points. 2. Billet upper and lower. When you order a receiver set the upper and lowers are made together. They are serialized and match fit before they are sent off to coating. Then fit checked again. 3. Mag bar and button are AR 15 style. So getting extended mag releases are the same as any AR15 parts 4. Customization. You can either order their off the shelf model which will run perfectly or when you order you can customize the build with the parts you want. If you want a specific barrel then you order the gun with that barrel or furniture or buffer or whatever parts you want the gun built with. The finished product then comes to you built and ready to be run like crazy. Unless you build the gun up yourself most companies just sell set pcc's with set parts and you would have to replace the parts with what you want later. When I ordered mine I ordered the very specific parts i wanted. the only other complete gun i would have entertained would have been a JP and even then it was more expensive and I would have changed parts on it almost immediately making it that much more expensive. 11. I love my kronos. I've got thousands of rounds through mine with zero failures. I've run round nose, trn's and hollow points through it. It eats anything i put through it. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  12. You won't be disappointed. Not even the same gun anymore Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  13. The 124's ran right around 1200 fps. We run hot loads close to major to get as much comp activation as we can. We found that running the loads activated the cloud break comp we were using very well. The dot bounce was almost nothing. The shooting innovations has moving adjustable weights on it while the JP does not. The springs on the SI are also specific to 9mm blowback The h4 was 6.8oz Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk
  14. trying to hit some drill time at least once a week. I dry fire specific drills during that week and then do a live fire day to test the progress. If those hit the goals i have set then I move on to different dry fire drills. If not I isolate what needs to be fixed and dry fire it till it shows in live fire. drills from Ben Stoegers book.
