Just received my new CK Thunder Open and couldn't be more pleased. Something special about that moment when you open up that case for the first time! Not just this but any new gun...can I get a witness? Have to thank Matt and Bobby for building such a quality gun and hope that I can now do justice to it. Also, I want to thank Shooter's Connection for their quality service and quick shipping, had it 2 days. Can't wait until i get it to the range and let the Thunder roll...

Would like to hear opinions on running the Open in Steel and the Steel in Open. Comparable? Does the shorter barreled Steel make much difference overall in the Open Division? I don't currently reload, so the off the shelf ammo is quite alluring... Thank you in advance.

Hello All, Shot my last IPSC in 1988, moved for jobs and drifted away but have always shot for jobs and recreation. Happy to be here and the fire has been reignited. That fire was always there and doesn't go away even though it might be on a slow burn. Haven't' fired a match yet but working on it, USPSA or Steel. Shot competitive trap for the 10 years, so not new to competitions or that mind set. Again, Happy to be here... Thank you, SGG
