Woodsk
Vortex Just announced the 1-8 version of the strike eagle. I just sighted in my 1-6 last week. Oh well I rarely see more than 200 yards any way.
Nathanb
I will probably get one. Guess we will see.
Stiven
yea just saw this on some gun websites, we'll see if it is true 1x like they claim and the eyebox is forgiving IM IN
Nathanb
I'm thinking this is the new reticle https://mobile.twitter.com/VortexOptics/status/842412887016673280/photo/
Hi-Power Jack
I like the reticle .... Looks, though, like it's NOT a true 1x (close, but not 1.0x)??
tact
Reticle is horrible.
Steve RA
I like the reticle better than some other ones in popular scopes.

Nathanb
I like it if that is the reticle I'll be getting one for sure. I don't shoot a ton of three gun so it works for me
Steve RA
Haven't been able to find anything on the usual internet sites about the 1X8. Anyone find anything ???
Woodsk
they have teased via social media that it will be released at the NRA convention
Garmil
Made in the same factory as the primary arms versions like the strike eagle I'm guessing. I'd take the pa reticle over this.
Steve RA
The picture above is a 1X6 Strike Eagle reticle, I assume ???
Nathanb
That reticle came from their twitter feed around the time the email came out for the 1-8 it's either the new reticle for the 1-6 pst or the strike eagle 1-8. From the looks of it I think it's the new strike eagle in speculating of course
Steve RA
Look on page two of this, looks like the one pictured above. This is the 1X6 Strike Eagle reticle. http://www.vortexoptics.com/uploads/web_manual_ret_strike-eagle_ar-bdc-moa.pdf
usmc1094
Look again....the bdc is different.
Steve RA
True - 4 bars in the first post and looks like it may have a dot instead of the stub sticking up. 1X6 has 5 bars and the little stub instead of a dot (if it is a dot, hope so)
Nathanb
It's very similar but the dot makes for a more precise reticle. I'd want to see through it but I think it's a bit of an advancement
usmc1094
It does look like a dot.
Hi-Power Jack
I prefer the dot to the stub
toeheadAR
I know Vortex went away with FFP scopes but anyone think that option may be on the table for the new 1-8x?
