  1. First observations of my x5. First it will not function with my 130 pf 147 grain loads. It stove piped repeatedly. I took the Springer guide rod and 14lb recoil spring out of my fs and installed it. It was too short but it worked for a couple mags. The sights were off by 6 inches too high at 10 yards. Windage was fine. The trigger is decent. Not much better than my stock fs curved trigger. I compared my x5 to another x5 which was equiped with a pelt trigger installed in house by GG. I was surprised to find that the GG trigger seemed a bit mushy in comparison. It was definitely lighter but did not feel better overall to me. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  2. That's what I thought. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  3. Are you using a GG guide rod front a full size? I don't think the x5 version is out yet as far as I know. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  4. Can I be rude and ask about the cost? That looks great. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  5. How can a dvc be legal? It has over 4.25 barrel and it has no bushing? Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  6. Just checked. It's there w.o. magwell. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  7. It's been on the production list for a couple of weeks I think. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  8. Yikes. Now I see the ridiculousness. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  9. The CZC hammer is legal when last I heard the cgw was not. I did not mean to suggest Cajun was a factory shop. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  10. How is that incorrect? As I understood the ruling the cz custom shadow hammer was allowed as a replacement because czc is a factory shop. Please explain the ruling if this is wrong. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  11. The cz hammer issue is different because it is a factory shop hammer that is standard on a production gun. This is truly aftermarket with a new exception being created which creates the confusion. The lack of an official ruling is making people question it. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  12. The similar shape and weight analysis comes from GG site. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

  14. Weigh it and see. I bet it's 44 oz. They seem a bit variable in weight too. My buddy has an aluminum Dawson mag well and GI rod and he is right at the limit. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
  15. Well I have bad news maybe. That is a 9mm Trojan and it was over weight with a flgr. It has a steel Ed Brown msh and well. I put a Wilson plug and GI rod in to get to that weight. The 9mm is tight on weight! Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
