Utterly clever promotion. Trouble is, I have no 'klunkers'...!! All my handguns are worth wayyyyy more than $200. :D
One each well used Hi-Point 9mm for $100 at a pawn shop. There are several on GunBroker.com at 1 cent, no reserve that at most would go for under $100. Search for Jennings, Lorcin, and Hi-Point.

Gotta love who thought this one up.

I'd be concerned with the issue of shipping the gun in the first place. If you follow the rules and don't go through an FFL, it's going to cost you $$$ and a lot of bother - if you do it right. I'll bet that they are going to get a lot of guns sent illegally through the post office.

I'd also bet that they have something arranged with their dealers to ship the gun for you for a fee.

Watch out for the old reserves the right to reject any firearm.

+1 color me suspicious.

On the bright side, Sig did decide to start sending 2 mags with each new pistol again <_< I wonder if that applies here too.

Sig pistols are pretty spendy and the offer is only good for the spendy guns, plus you probably end up buying mags from them which are expensive too.

They probably make $200 on the sale and don't care what you give them, plus I am sure they can find some way to get something out of the "klunkers" they get.

What will be far more common is persons sending their guns to SIG via normal UPS rather than the pricey overnight service they require to protect the guns from thieves in brown uniforms.
