philg80
Cory, I just watched your video. That's cool ! But tell me how did you get the round in your gun with out using the charging handle on the 100 yard course  They call it a bolt latch or bolt hold open Jeff!!!! We all used it....I'll show you where it is on your AR at our next match. Sorry, couldn't resist!

Chris Conley
+1 Great match! Thanks to all the RO's too....and the GF had fun too...although I think Wish frightened her some...or maybe it was just the stories... And while I didn't challenge the front runners - I also didn't get my name written next to an errant hole in the bar door either Great shooting with Squad 2 See ya'll next year. I wrote that guys name on the door before he finished the stage. Anytime one shoots a stage prop that bad he should have to sign it. Chris C. I signed it too!!! One little bitty, teeny, tiny, little hole and every body gives you a hard time over it..... I just thought it would work better as a "screen" door. That was funny though. We had a fun squad that day! Can't wait to do it again. Nice to be back shooting again with you man! Chris C.

Unloaded anything is just that. Unloaded pistol start with out saying slide forward and hammer down means I can lock the slide to the rear. Unloaded rifle means just that, nothing in it but unless you say bolt forward....well I'm not gonna do it

want2race
Some Heavy Metal, gotta represent the big bore's. Sans music. I like to hear bullets. Thanks Corey! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ve_P9Jn9_hs...re=channel_page Video is good for AAR's. Gotta remember the pump gun won't go on safe with the hammer down... hopalong
This was my second trip to Owensboro for the KY 3-gun. Neither of them were a dissapointment (except my own performance). Gary did a bang up job of organizing, got all the help he needed an it showed. Good job Gary. Chris did most EXCELLENT on begging, borrowing and stealong for the prize table. (Chris, tell my guy Chad how to do that please ) Congrats to Mike, Chris, Robert, and My man Rodney on their match wins. He and Tom Carpenter both shot on my squad, was fun watching them battle back and forth. I hope My guys and gals at the MS 3-gun Challenge can somewhat compare to Gary's match. Thanks, to all especially the range officers and the great sponsors. Hopalong 2009 MS 3-gun Challenge MD
MikeFoley
Thanks to Gary and his staff who did an awesome job once again. Squad 4 was, well what can I say, shooting with my friends is always where I wanted to be. The stages were great, as usual, looked easy enough, until you got to shooting them. I learned some valuable lessons at this match, and I wish there were three more rifle stages. That was the only thing I did well. Benny will get my Benelli by weeks end I imagine, if I can get all the BreakFree out of it that I poured into it to getting it running again. A special apology to Recon215 for puring an ounce into your gun by mistake, sorry once again. Great to see some old friends and make a few new ones alike. Congrats to Mike Moore, and all of the other winners and competitors who finished the match.
recon215
Just an ounce? Think that little bottle held more than that Mike! It's all good, never too much oil I guess now.... At least all my guns worked this match, which is a huge plus from the past.

Airedale
Superb match as always-don't change a thing! Good lesson learned this match. When a weapon pukes and you have a replacement, swap out. I misdiagnosed a rifle problem and fixed what wasn't broke. I had the RM with me and could have gotten his approval to swap rifles. I didn't and it, essentially, cost me both big rifle stages (2& 3). My ejector was stuck in the "ain't gonna move postition". I thought it was something else. Dave
