THS
Well, at 12 noon Eastern time I will end my active career as a US Marine. Retirement looks real nice from here, especially where I start a new position on Monday! 21 years and 4 months has been a long time, but I wouldn't trade the friendships for anything. I wont be able to surf here or post as much, and the computers are on a secure network at the new gig, but I still have the weekends to check things out at home. Thanks to all of you who participate in a civil and open manner in the discussions here; it reminds me of a sign I saw in an office recently. "If 2 of us have the exact same opinion, then one of us isn't needed!" Later, Tom
Matt Ulberg
Congratulations! You will be missed on the board, so visit when you can. Thank you for your assistance in making my first year of shooting this game a successful one! The gear is holding up well! Matt
Nik Habicht
Tom, You're way to young to retire! Did ya join the Marines in grade school? Seriously, I remember how hard you've had to fight for this, so Congragulations and best of luck in your new endeavors! Hope to see you at next year's Summer Blast. Hey QuicksDraw!
I too would like to thank you for serving your/our country. Congratulation on the retirement, but why didn't you take a week or two for yourself before starting your new position? I hope you do well and don't forget to post on the weekends!
