Hats for the sun?

I'd love to find a summer version of this Outdoor Research Gore-Tex hat - it's perfect for cold/rainy weather, but too dark and warm for hot sunny weather. The brim is a good size, and it has velcro tabs to fold the sides of the brim up for use with over-the-ear muffs. A light-weight, light-colored summer version would be perfect!

Anyone come across anything like this?

Get yourself a good Panama hat. It breaths better than even my old boonie ( khaki is cooler than darker colors) and has a wider brim. Mine has a coolmax headband that wicks great. If you look like a golfer, so what, better that than skin Cancer. I'd recommend to still use sun block as reflected light is still a source of UV A/B radiation outdoors. My panama moves with me and the stiffer brim does not flop like my boonie. Stay safe...

Thanks for the ideas. I found a bunch of hats on ebay. I'm going to give this one a try:

The above hat sucked. Too hot and sweaty and when you turn your head the back part drags on you just enough to be annoying. This hat rocks...

... but I don't think I would wear it on a date.
