SharonAnne9x23
I shot a winter match about 60 miles north of Toronto at the Sharon Gun Club. Sunny, don't recall the temp but sub freezing. I shot that match with my left arm in a cast after surgery on my wrist and elbow. No good for balance. I think I fell twice just walking between stages. I will stick with my beautiful desert. JKSNIPER
Loring AFB , Maine in 1981. USMC Cold weather training. Snowed like an avalanche and in the AM it was 65 below with wind chill. If you took off the arctic mittens to do anything with the regular undergloves your hands went numb in a VERY short period of time. Amazing how long it takes to do simple things once the temp dips below zero. JK

Jay6
Global warming at work Nope, it is that evil Haliburton weather machine at work Seriously though, it has been over two months since we saw above freezing temps here in Maine. Hit in the -20's a week or so ago which was a little painful.
Ledge
I got these pics this week in my inbox. They were taken 1/26/09 in Northern Maine, and do a pretty good job of showing how cold it was...

reneet
It was snowing when I pulled up at work this morning. I hate cold. I've got my heater going full blast under my desk but am still freezing my butt off. I'm keeping my glove on my left hand and my right hand feels like a block of ice. 26 degrees with 20 wind chill when I checked a few minutes ago. Did I mention I hate cold.
