How do I post pics on Benos?

When I post on the forum and hit add pic button it brings up the box asking for the url of the pic. No problem in PC since thats what I was used to, but how do I do it with a Mac?

sorry for the computer illiteracy, but where is the "upload" button? I click "attach this file" and nothing happens.

Under Choose File is a blue box, called 'Attach this File'

Once you have done that you will see a thumbnail of the graphic, over on the right hand side it will show 'Add to Post | Delete'

Click the Add to post

If you want to link to a URL then its the same as a PC... Hit this icon then put in the image URL

First you have to click the "Choose File" button, then a window will open allowing you to select the file. (Having the file on your Desktop is the easiest way to navigate to it from that window.) Then after you select it, the window will close and the file's name will appear to the right of the Choose File button. Then, you click "Attach this file."

I have clicked"choose file, Brought a picture over and the discription is shown next to "choose file" then clicked "attach this file. At that point, nothing happens.

Your file is too big, it can't be more than 1MB in size. I would recommend using Photobucket and attach the link. I finally figured it out last night.

You don't have to use Photobucket ... Just edit your picture with Windows Paintbrush. You don't have to change a thing. Just right click on the picture, select edit, then once in Paintbrush, go to file, then save as, and select a location on your computer that you want to save the file. This will automatically reduce the file size and make it able to upload.

Windows Paintbrush is not going to such a good option on a Mac.

I've been using Graphic Converter for a long long time. It's a free download, fully functional, and very powerful.

You can use Preview on a Mac. It has options to resize any image.
