iv'e got an old 1st yr production glock 21 and a XD tactical 45..just never had the urge to put either into competition, since all i shoot in cdp are steel 1911's..any thoughts as to why you don't see as many polymer guns?? like the new M&P 45,Glock,XD's??? what is everybody running in the polymer class ?? G'erg..

edited: i know who makes what....what i'm looking for is a reason to shoot a polymer[non look/alike 1911] over a 1911...pro's and con's..

Plastic pistols in CDP... Disgusting. That's what SSP is for.

ETA: purely emotional response, you understand. No need to quote the rules. I know the rules.

I see a few, in fact it has been noted several times that the top 3 finishers in CDP at the IDPA Nationals last year were a XD, Glock and M&P.

Let's see, that could be Leatham, Svigny (sp) and .....Miculek?

Nope.

DC David Olhasso 173.42

1 Dave Sevigny 174.66

2 Ernest Langdon 187.27

Factory marksmen all. It's the indians, not the plastic arrows.
