harmonii Posted July 1, 2008 Share Posted July 1, 2008 If I glass-bead a G22 slide, as it is all chipped. Once stripped, what is a good finish? Are there merits to hard-chroming? Can I leave it bare, will the tennifer treatment with a thin coat of oil prevent rust? Right now where the finish is chpped off it has not rusted at all. I've beat around on some Glocks over the years, and seen some others that were beat on pretty hard...I don't know that I've seen one with a "chip" in the finish.
